I’ve sold down a lot over the past 2 years and now have most of my other Mocs on the block too. I’ve replaced some with proof cards and expect I’ll always have some sort of collection but I found huge ‘runs’ were actually stifling my enjoyment.

That was my biggest takeaway from celebration - I lined up with thousands of people and the vast majority (I assume - from overheard conversations, costumes, t-shirts, age etc etc) were not there primarily for the OT, and even less so for vintage toys. We’re a very small, niche part of Star Wars.

I hear the ‘better than money in the bank’ argument all the time - but things don’t have to be that binary! I take your point though. I think I’d quickly fall out of love with it all doing it for a living tbh.
