I think the time has come for you to post up some pics in the other collections thread, and educate us philistines in regard to some of the street artist stuff

Got to say the Kaws stuff is cool, but bloody hell..some expensive pieces
Space invader and banksy stuff you mentioned is cool , love some of the paper art you put me onto

I really get some of the stuff, but as with all art, don't get some of it but it's all about personal taste

Like I say though, some of the Kaws stuff is very nice indeed and can see the draw there

@MichaelSith: The Kaws Fett is so awesome but at 800 I'd rather get the Vader or Stormtrooper which is a classic. But I'm actually selling up to get these two Pieces by Kaws :shock: Hopefully

The Pinocchio piece is awesome, I remember drawing Disney figures as a kid and loved drawing him

Expensive but very cool piece

Going back to the art, the Kaws piece Silent City is really nice, such a vibrant piece, to me looks like cubism gone street grafitti love it

Back on topic, yes I agree the stormy and Vader pair are awesome

Really like these pieces, so good luck June, hope you get the wants

Thanks for the nod towards KAWS, June- I'd not heard of this artist before... superb stuff... his art is visually impressive, without a doubt. Fascinating to read that he briefly worked for Disney as a freelance animator, painting the backgrounds. Those giant inflatable pieces he's done look positively insane... what a sight to behold.

On my last trip to NYC back in 2010 I headed straight to Princes Street and the Kidrobot store. I was somewhat overwhelmed when I walked inside, a real feast for the eyes... I left clutching a treasured purchase: the Smorkin' Labbit.
