Just started to collect anything vintage and these few cards came up . Wonders if someone would give me a ruff idea what they could be worth please ? ( I'm not expecting to be running straight to ebay) I just wanna know I'm not out of pocket as only really know the value of the basic loose figures at moment
Thanks guys !

Star Characters on 30b cards do tend to have a premium. Luke X-wing is probably one of the more common, in fact it's probably one of the more common even on moc 30b.

The C3P0 is on of the tougher ESB debut moc to get and I imagine this may well be reflected in it's rarity as just a cardback

The TFP is also a debut but is pretty common.

Not sure how this reflect on prices for cardbacks. I know a Ben 30b was around £50ish not that long ago, so i'd have though the Luke would be in the same range. Not sure at all on the others.

Where's Jason as he's the man for buying and selling Palitoy cardbacks!!?

Thanks to Bootyhunter for sending me a PM on this.
I'll have to check what LXW card backs I have. Not sure if I have that exact one, if I do I'll let you know what I paid for it.
Marc's estimate seems fair. A much nicer version just sold on eBay for £62 (no paper loss) didn't it Marc

Thanks lads for getting in touch and letting me know your value. Its nice to have a couple of card backs , ( even went and bought couple more last night on the cheap) so this could be my new focus !
I didn't reaLise these were debut cards neither for other 2 so that's nice. I just love holding / looking at something that's a piece of SW vintage history!
LXW is a favourite of mine too , so smart to have that, it seems I've got a bargin to so thanks lads
Yeh let me know Jez as intersting to know .
U collect card backs then or just LXW?
Cheers

Shaky, the 30 back palitoy card back is pretty cool for various reasons but my fave is look very carefully at the 10 new photographed figures. You will notice they differ from the production figures. They were prototypes and only appear on that cardback. There are some other anomalies with that cardback. Some of the later empire figures (beyond the first 30) debuted on it as well.

There is something cool about the 30 back cards. Definitely my favourite cardback picture.

Your Luke looks to be in this range - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ORIGINAL-VINTAGE-STAR-WARS-CARDBACK-LUKE-X-WING-PILOT-PALITOY-30-B-CARD-BACK-/271985361835?hash=item3f539743ab%3Ag%3Aa-sAAOSwsB9V9c7W&nma=true&si=jaatQ2nhXzMsuqoN850ZuhNQctE%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

Shame it wasn't more complete like this one - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-Star-Wars-Luke-X-Wing-Pilot-Palitoy-30b-cardback-/181912758635?hash=item2a5ad8696b%3Ag%3AAbQAAOSwo6lWLPbF&nma=true&si=jaatQ2nhXzMsuqoN850ZuhNQctE%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

Who knows on the day though so best of luck if you do let it go.

Again thanks for taking the time out to post on here lads! That's a great bit of info about the prototypes being used on back if card. The novice in me would never had spot that! And thanks for the ebay links too. Seems either way I have nice / interesting card back in Luke X wing
