it's beyond a shadow of a doubt fake. I can't be sure, but likely the reason it's in the AFA case is that AFA offers as part of its service to case up any collectible - without a grade - if the item is rejected from grading for any reason. That works and makes some sense to case up a MOC that is rejected for ink touch ups, etc., but is completely irresponsible when it comes to something like this fake cape VCJ. I know, I know....AFA doing something irresponsible....impossible!!!! lol
So likely someone submitted this for grading, it was rejected because of the fake cape, and AFA placed it in the same case as a graded one would be, but with no grade or grade label.
The case is likely worth more than the Jawa inside it.
