Well, 3 months in and my starting 9 has increased to 55 pieces!

I say pieces, as in addition to boosting the loose figure collection some carded figures have sneaked in and also some mini rigs. I have also unintentionally started a Teebo focus - 77 and 79 back now.

So yesterday I just happened to mention to a friend in work, that I knew frequented sci-fi and board game conventions, about how much Star Wars figures he gets to see around the place. He stated not that much but then boom! He then went onto say that he did have some SW items from a purchase years ago on eBay. He brought them in and next I knew (bit of a blur in reality), I had acquired another Teebo and three mini rigs! My intent was not to collect such items and save the pennies for FF, however I wanted first preference if selling and then it happened - sold!

Next dilemma - display options but thats a different thread!

Good stuff, Taff! I wouldn't worry about it. When good vintage comes your way, you get it. I'm trying to save for FF too but have bought a few MOCs the last month or so already.

Chris - I couldn't let them go by. The mini rigs were complete and had inserts, all tools, leaflets, bags.
VME had stickers applied but empty sticker sheet in box.
RLC had stickers still on sheet.
Tri-pod laser cannon completed the set pictured on the box!

Then Teebo although creased in places had a great bubble and unpunched. Loved the US store sticker too.

I sat him down with Tracker in hand and we went through values and previous sales and agreed prices on each item to ensure he knew he was getting the market price and I was being fair as a collector. Very amicable and he was pleased to flip them after having them stored away for so long.

I don't blame you, those mini rig boxes look pretty crisp. And the Teebo looks great too. It's perhaps a little controversial, but I have a soft spot for Teebo and his buddies (infact anything battle of Endor related) as I loved reenacting the Endor scenes as a kid in garden. In fact I feel an Ewok/Endor focus coming on. :D

Thats it then Chris, were in. Ewoks it is. Endor is go.
To be truthful, ROTJ was the only true memories of Star Wars I had as a child. I think the battle scenes were closely related to a fascination I had with the military and war. I had more Action Man and Britains than Star Wars for sure!

Nice going! Thanks for sharing. :)

Thanks Tigerham. Display solution is poor now as mini rigs and carded figures are stored away. I am sure my hand will be forced when the loose cabinet is full! :D

Thanks hellhippie and sanketibe. I wouldnt of posted but some wanted monthly updates so I saw no harm.

So chuffed with 2nd Teebo and minirigs as it felt a nearly wild find. If I hadnt of mentioned it I think they would of gone on eBay and perhaps not be perserved for ever more.

Ha! I'm with you there too. I always had more Action Force/GI Joe than Star Wars. And I was always more absorbed in the epic battles in space, on Hoth and Endor's moon.

I love these updates :D now give Yoda some clothes

I know but probably cheaper buying a complete one than try to get cloak, cane, belt and snake. However in saying that it, I would be proud in uniting items to make a complete one. :D

Taff I somehow managed to get an abundance of authentic snakes. I can send you one if you want to get your Yoda started out the hardcore way. For free of course.

Can't remember if I got multiple of all 3 colors in surplus though.
