Taffius wrote:I like the GW acrylic cases where you display a cardback and then have figure separate at the front encased.

Best of both worlds then and protection for both. Easily removable and displayable together.

Do you have a link to these cases? Cheers

Re: Recarding figures for display. Your thoughts...

My God, there was a time on this forum when that would have triggered pages of negative comments and probably a ban from a MOD for the OP. Pmsl.   I was waiting for the abuse. Lol. But on a serious note. If anyone knows of any split bubble or resealed palatoy 12backs. Then please le...

Recarding figures for display. Your thoughts...

So I really want a set of palatoy 12backs. I'm NEVER going to be able to afford it. Lol. So I'm considering buying a cardback kit so I can display them in all of their intended glory. Now some people frown apon this and some people think it looks good. So I'm after your general thoughts on the subje...

I never had any die cast when I was growing up. Come to think of it I didn't even know they existed until mid 90's.

Re: What did everyone have in their childhood collection?

Most figures. The only last 17 that I had were luke stormtrooper, the EWOKS, and luke poncho. Had multiple x wings and scout walkers. Many speeder bikes, lots of mini rigs, slave one, a broken millennium falcon 'darth tie fighter and a snow speeder. I still have most of the mini rigs and some of the...

A vintage Lando in the “Smugglers” outfit. What a cool figure that would have made v the Bespin only ESB Lando.

That's given me an awesome idea for a custom figure. :)

Re: Customs Charges

I'm probably in the minority here then. Although I absolutely HATE customs charges, If its a valuable item I either ask them to ship it via DHL (they use there own planes ect and don't display the value on the outside so you rarely if ever get customs charges) or If they are using usps I ask them to...

Did Dt Luke ever make it to UK?

Just curious but did did Dt Luke ever make it to a palatoy card in the UK or were they all released in the US? As I certainly can't remember ever seeing one over here when I was a kid.

George Lucas signature value?

Anyone know roughly how much George Lucas signature value is roughly? It's definitely genuine as I got it from him personally. However it's not a signed photo just a standard page from an autograph book. It's not for sale I'm just curious if I should put it somewhere a little safer as it's currently...

How do you go about sending a prepaid return envelope when sending to people outside your own country?

Re: Anyone want to swap signed tops trading cards?

These are 2 I have for trade. Kenny Baker and Mark Hamill.

Good overall condition. Signatures faded a little as they have been framed for several years.

Re: Investor or Collector?

There was something on the radio I heard a few months back about investments I cant remember all of it but it was to do with investing in the 70s, some people invested in shares or say an equivalent to an isa in a bank or something else obviously people who had, did make profit but the biggest prof...
