Re: Vlix for sale in Brazil

Well over-priced, I'd say somewhere around £900 would be fair as its not in the greatest condition. No gun either (very rare).

Re: Palitoy Display Bits and Weapons

Here's my original for comparison. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v293/mr_jason_smith/100_3588.jpg You can spot the repro as the spacing between the yellow letters of "THE TOYS OF THE FILM ARE HERE" is larger on the repro. 8) Jason Still looking good Jason. Have you reframed the sticke...

Palitoy Display Bits and Weapons - SOLD

Howdo all. Having a bit of a clear out and have two replica Palitoy "The Toys of the Film are Here" displays up for grabs. They are slightly different from the real and very rare window sticker. One is clear (as per the real one) and the other is white. They are displayed in acrylic L stan...

Re: Vectis Auction - some rare stuff up for grabs

Joe, their estimates are always way off they don't know a great deal about Star Wars. Its online bidding. Used to be in-house, which was fun. If anyone's thinking about bidding larger amounts then its always worth a viewing if you have time and don't forget about the sale commission. If I've had any...

Vectis Auction - some rare stuff up for grabs

Just some fair warning that Vectis have some nice stuff coming up for auction next week including some Palitoy and Die Kraft der Macht items. I won't provide a link and make it too easy though

Re: Star Wars Meet up. Surrey

As a photographer myself I'll have to give it a miss as I don't do in front of the camera   As for why it has such a loyal following? Christ... how long have you got? From my point of view I saw the first film when it was released and even though I was only five I remember it well. It was...

Re: Star Wars Card and Box Artwork

The original artwork for the A-Wing which was in the auction last year looked really nice, wouldn't mind that sat alongside a POTF box flat I thought. Lots of moolah though.

Re: hello there

Its also strange how some of the LHH are on a 12A when you think they'd all be 12B's. I guess the factory workers couldn't tell the difference and just dug into the box of cardbacks.

I really wouldn't give him the satisfaction of posting his pm's (whoever it is) and its probably better deleted off here. If I were you I wouldn't even look at any messages received. Its what they want, don't give the sad cases the time of day, other than to warn everyone about their usernames

Star Wars Card and Box Artwork

When I get back into the collecting I'm thinking about a basic loose set and perhaps some artwork to hang on the walls rather than taking up too much space with display cabinets. I've had my eye on a Revenge proof sheet for either the AT-AT or Falcon for a while as these are two of the toys I rememb...

Re: hello there

Very true Jason, although AFA have trouble telling Palitoy's apart so their stamp of approval wouldn't be the determining factor for me. I'd rather some of the UK Palitoy collectors look it over and I'd go on their opinion. Obviously your example isn't sealed but you clearly know the Palitoy cardbac...
