Re: Latest Modern Acquisitions

Couple more hardbacks for the collection, and not at the ridiculous ebay prices either! (Although bought from ebay!)

£8.29 for Darth Plagueis and £2.20 for Ahsoka.

Re: 70s/80s Toy Shops

My local toyshops (Sutton, Surrey) for Star Wars back in the 70's and 80's was mainly Tesco's, I got most of my figures from there. I remember getting them from BHS as well but our main toy only store was Gamleys. (went out of business in 2008). Slightly off topic I'm currently making an excel sprea...

Re: Anyone reading the new canon novels?

I'm going to pick up the Ashoka book, been really getting into watching Rebels lately, also need to get back into Clone Wars.

Finished Rebel Rising and halfway through Guardians of the Whills at the moment.

Got Dark Disciple and Battlefront: Twilight Company lined up next.

I was thinking of downloading the Kanan series as I've been really getting into Rebels lately.

Does anyone recommend them?

Re: Marvel Comics

Also for any Dr. Aphra fans who haven't seen this, there was a fan vote recently for an non-movie action figure to be made and she won the vote. Hopefully she'll come with the droids!

Re: Marvel Comics

I agree the yoda arc was a huge disappointment and way over the top.... I hope we don't have that again! Usually I wouldn't get every issue and wait for graphic novels but as the comic comes with a free digital code for each issue its perfect. I get to read the comic on my tablet without having to ...

Re: Anyone reading the new canon novels?

Bloodline took me a while to get into but I did eventually and quite enjoyed it. Yes Aftermath got better after the first book, although I didn't think it was bad as everyone else thought. Lords of the Sith was a great read for me, hooked me straight away and couldn't put it down. The Star Wars comi...
