Also, if you ever get any grief from an eBay member don't rise to it, just report them using this form:

Re: There's never a shortage of morons out there!

So you didn't cancel his bid or sell to a lower bidder, he just didn't win it? Thanks for the warning, added to my blocked list! Had a weirdo myself last night, trying to convince me that my MOC was a Toy Toni having put a lowball offer in. He even tried to tell me Jason (Mr Palitoy) had told him it...

Re: Rocket Firing Boba Fett

Apparently it sold for 145k on a 12 month payment plan. Surely if you need a payment plan for a non-essential item that expensive, you can't afford it. Buying a house or car on credit is one thing, but a 100k toy is just plan stupid.

Re: THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 53 LAUNCHED

Hi Dave, Great to see you join and hope you find the forum useful. As said I really enjoyed your interview, no offence meant with the 'black hole' comment, I find people on forums or in Facebook groups etc often think they know of most major collectors, so it's always cool when somebody 'new' comes ...

Anybody in Milton Keynes?

I’ve found something I want to buy on eBay, but the buyer will only accept cash on collection. It’s a small item and not too expensive (£200.) Would anyone nearby be willing to buy and send on to me? Happy to pay a finders fee for your time. Thanks!

Re: THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 53 LAUNCHED

The Chris Fawcett interview was eye opening in regards to the early day scam, and for once  I can see Richard’s point of view in that the scamer was very clever in how he presented the items for sale...but he is still a scum bag scammer! Ren Hoeck is a great story, I notice Chris mentioned th...

Re: Rocket Firing Boba Fett

Someone's just posted another one for 100k on Facebook. These "holy grails" seem to come up for sale every week! If there are 80+ of them, I can think of many rarer production pieces that sell for 1/100th of the price. Rich fools and their money...

Oh yes I forgot to mention the Dagobah discussion - I had no idea there were multiple releases of it with different accessories and box designs, even if minor.

Re: THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 53 LAUNCHED

That's great, it's nice to hear from somebody that isn't part of the community we all know. It's easy to forget Star Wars is much bigger than the circles we associate with.

Re: THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 53 LAUNCHED

Just finished, really enjoyed the David Phillips interview, sounds like a top bloke. I don't remember seeing him in any groups or forums though, and I noticed he only has one mutual friend on Facebook (Grant.) Is he one of these 'blackhole' collectors?

Re: Rocket Firing Boba Fett

Why does someone need to go through a broker for this type of item? I don't get this either. It's 2018, sell it yourself. I can kind of understand why people pay a premium for buying from people like Tom Derby, who have incredible knowledge which adds credibility to pieces when they authenticate th...

Re: Rocket Firing Boba Fett

Nuts. The things aren't even rare, aren't there like 50 of them? And please don't say it's the only AFA 90 or you'll get a punch in the nose

Re: THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 53 LAUNCHED

About half way through now, enjoying it so far. Sorry to hear Si is stepping back, I didn't realise he had become a full-time Drew Pritchard, I must admit I am slightly jealous! I would love to do that one day. Interesting conversation around negativity in the hobby at the moment. A few months ago n...
