Re: General Grumbling

There are some people who like grading and some who hate it. what i hate is everytime theres some sort of grading discussion, you will always get those people who cant resist calling someone a moron for having graded items and try to bellittle them, yet u never hear a pro grade person call a grade ...

Re: Watch out: A new eBay scam

It's interesting to see a scam message that starts with "hi mate" instead of "biggest greetings from King Xulu of Nigeria!" which had made spotting scams fairly easy in the past.

Re: 1983 Return of the Jedi Luke Jedi Knight Outfit figure

I think with some patience you could find one for around £150-200 from a UK or European seller.

Re: Bubble Question...

These bubbles are difficult to verify as Toni has definitely sold Chewies like this. As far as I am aware he did not have Vader cards so they should all be OK. The Chewbacca's are a matter of opinion unfortunately, as above there are definitely legit ones out there too.

Re: THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 47 LAUNCHED

Just finished it, very enjoyable as ever. I would like to thank Pete for mentioning the new video game Facebook group, if anybody would like to have a look or join it is here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/187354552040809/ Also got to agree with Simon about Echo Base, an otherwise fine group reall...

The bots scrape websites for search engine results. Without them, there would be no links in Google etc.

Re: THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 47 LAUNCHED

Really enjoyed the round table, some very valid points put across coherently. There is definitely some truth to this so-called “millennial” generation, Spoons is right that it has always been there to a degree but before Facebook the ‘like’ and instant gratification that comes with it simply didn’t ...

Re: SWFUK Annual Statistics

I don’t get it - what’s the third table, the 87 thousand?? If there’s only 4.5 thousand members? Is it total visits including guests and their location? That's 87,000 individual users, not members. If you look at the 'users' screenshot I posted a couple of posts above, you will see only around 10% ...

Re: SWFUK Annual Statistics

Here's the full 5 years of visitor data I have going back to June 2013. As you can see although numbers are slightly declining after peaking in 2016, it has been fairly steady and we get slightly more visitors today than we did back in 2013. Certainly not falling off a cliff, and Facebook Star Wars ...

Re: SWFUK Annual Statistics

I would have never guessed there was 900 Mexican members on here, don't think i'm even aware of more than 50 members that iv'e actually seen active over the past year. Most people that browse the forum are actually not members but 'guests', just random people who find threads on Google etc but neve...

SWFUK Annual Statistics

I was just looking through the forum's analytics statistics and thought I'd share a few numbers from the last 12 months for anybody interested. The fall of forums in favour of Facebook has been quite a hot topic for a few years now but not many people publish numbers. Firstly traffic, as you can see...
