You should definitely ask him, a decent friend would understand. Offer to replace them with better condition versions to make it a win-win.

Re: WTB: Palitoy Jedi MOCs with Trilogo Bubbles

You’re almost certainly right, but after the Palitoy VCJ and Trilogo Y Wing, it’s never impossible :)

Re: Items you now regret selling?

If it was about the money then my Toltoys VC Jawa and six Kenner VC Jawa's about 8 years ago... but it's not. Yes, I bet a lot of us wish we hoovered up VCJs for £100-200 each, which is what they were selling for up until about 2010. Could have retired selling them on Facebook a few years la...

Re: Items you now regret selling?

So many, I'm sure anybody who's been collecting a long time will have loads. Some of them make me cry thinking about them  A few 'highlights' are: Lily Ledy Luke Jedi MOC, sold for £400 in 2007, saw one on Facebook recently for about 3 grand :o Palitoy Jedi Luke Farmboy. Paid £30 for it in the ...

Re: WTB: Palitoy Jedi MOCs with Trilogo Bubbles

TIE Fighter Pilot defiantly does not exist, sorry mate. If one did surface- and it had a trilogo bubble....that would be an epic find. I think it's possible, if you look at my lists it seems Empire figures are the most plentiful. And until the Lando I just got turned up this week, I hadn't seen one...

Will do, the RC is quite common, I’ve seen a few.

Re: Latest Acquisitions

It’s been a good week, just received this Canadian 41 back for my LXW focus. I have always loved the Kenner 41 back with the coloured figure boxes, and this version is extra cool with the additional French text:

Re: Latest Acquisitions

I've got to give a massive thanks to Cardbackkid for this Palitoy Lando. He kindly alerted me to it on German eBay from a seller who had listed loads of recards and reseals with this randomly amongst them. As you may have seen I'm collecting Palitoy Jedi cards with trilogo bubbles, and not only is t...

Re: Vinyl Cape Jawa - Now Graded & Ready for Ebay

I dont get it. This is not an original VCJ. Is it? As I understand it is a cloth Jawa with an original vinyl cape. It might be the same figure, but it started out as a cloth Jawa....right!? :?: That might be technically true, but as 99% of the value is the cape, it doesn't matter that much. It's an...

 it's the face/neck! Doesn't do poor Carrie justice. Actually I do recall seeing a 'pretty face' variant somewhere which was an improvement.

Re: Forum Figure of the Year 2019 - Round 2 - Match 2

I can't vote for Luke because they didn't give him a lightsabre. I mean come on, how can they miss out the weapon he actually uses in the film and add a gun he doesn't use? Bizarre. This would have been one cool figure with the blue luke Jedi sabre, in fact that's how I might display mine :)

I wish I liked Leia Hoth as both cardbacks are great, but the figure is so ugly!

Re: Meccano R2D2 solid dome miscard

£500 seems low to me to be honest, I've seen much more common or less desirable Meccano Jedi MOCs sell for around that so would assume R2 would be higher. Also I believe most French collectors think solid dome R2 on both Jedi and Trilogo cards is not a miscard, that's how it was intended apparently.
