Re: The Usual 'How Not To Post A Carded Figure' Moan

Always sad to see, such a waste. Unless I know the seller personally I always ask for a box, its worth the occasional "of course I will, do you take me for an idiot?" reply!

Re: THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 40 LAUNCHED

Really enjoyed Shawn's interview, it's great to talk about the toys themselves but it's even better to hear somebodies stories from growing up. Chris's mini interview was eye opening too, I had no idea that kit-bashed Speeder Bike had shown up in Australia. I remember that image of it with the upsid...

Re: 2017 Collecting Goals, hopes and dreams

Not ten individual items but my main focus areas for next year: 1) Pick up a Yak (probably) and Madine (unlikely) to finish my trilogo run 2) Finish my run of basic baggies, need about 30 more 3) Pick up a couple more nice MISB vehicles, especially keen on a Snowspeeder and B-Wing 4) Find some more...

Re: The Last Jedi latest trailer

Bah, my least favourite of all the new trailers so far. All just looks a bit too try-hard like the prequels. And Kylo Ren is never going to be a good sith, look like a lame emo vampire or something.

Re: Klaatu over-representation

He’s been the entry level loose and MOC figure for 25 years, that deserves respect :) although I have noticed recently he’s gone up on a trilogo card for some bizarre reason, I guess it only takes a couple of fools to pay £100

Re: Net for C3PO removable limbs question

I've never heard of anybody faking these, you can buy originals for a couple of quid and sealed baggie complete figures for under £20 so I don't see how it would be worth anyone's while.

Re: Budget Foreign MOCs - Don't all laugh at once

Ungraded Toni Snowtroopers have been selling for around the £100 mark, so anything above that is only for the 90 grade sticker (which is ironic as its worthless being on a fake.)

Re: Latest Acquisitions

My latest pick ups, two lovely Palitoy 65 back Stormtroopers, complete with trilogo bubbles so no worries about them being Toy Toni's. I really love these logoless and offerless Palitoy cards with trilogo bubbles, a new side focus maybe?

All those German ESB Toy Toni's, I think any of those would be well worth picking up for a sensible price.

Re: UK & US MOC price differences

Due to the shit exchange rate there isn't really enough of a difference now to make it worthwhile importing loads of stuff to resell. Things are generally still cheaper if you want them for your own collection, but gone are the days of eBay USA being half the price of UK (unless the pound makes a dr...
