Re: The Last Jedi - **SPOILERS THREAD**

To my surprise I really enjoyed it! I thought it was better than TFA or R1. Of course there were some bits I didn't like, I still think Kylo Ren is a bit wet but I thought Rey was much better in this one. Luke was good. I thought Leia's 'coming back from the dead' was a bit inappropriate, surprised ...

Re: "Uncracked Limbs"

Sadly it proves grading is all about money, they would put Geisha Face Leia or Disco Boots DSC on the label if some twat paid them to do it

Re: When were your golden years?

85-86 as a kid as I was too young to see the films in the cinema, but I also really enjoyed my first 'collecting years' from 94-97, rediscovering Star Wars was really special.

Re: End of 2017 Onto 2018

Here's my list from last year: 1) Pick up a Yak (probably) and Madine (unlikely) to finish my trilogo run 2) Finish my run of basic baggies, need about 30 more 3) Pick up a couple more nice MISB vehicles, especially keen on a Snowspeeder and B-Wing 4) Find some more obscure Star Wars/LucarArts games...

Re: What do you regret the most from your time in the hobby?

A few I can think of: 1) Selling most of my original MOC collection in 2003. I had owned some of those MOCs since the early 90s and paid peanuts for them all, I sold them for peanuts too. The only one I have left is my 21 back Luke X-Wing. They were the closest thing I had to my childhood collection...

Re: High res images of card backs

You won't find any reproduction that's anywhere near as good as the real thing. You can't reproduce the litho print effect with a home printer, and also as you've found without the original artwork (not scans) the images will always look poor. You can find genuine used cardbacks for most figures und...

It seems this is not only limited to baggies, but multi packs too:

Re: Card images you think could have been better

Love the Leia Hoth cardbacks (both photos) but I just don’t like the figure, too masculine

Best score I've had for a while :) the card is a bit warped but I think I can sort it out. Will post an updated photo when I've attempted flattening it

Re: Toy Toni Boba Fett....

I remember Jason Joiner saying in the original Toy Toni thread that the early ones in the 80s were so badly sealed they were basically being sold as loose figures

Re: Toy Toni Boba Fett....

The bubble has taken almost all of the print off with it. If you look at opened Toni's, they practically fall off without leaving a mark. I agree with Jason's point that both are legit cardbacks.
