Re: MOC Empire Strikes Back Palitoy Darth Vader

Thank you for the replies and information so far. So this is classified as a 45B version? And £600-£800 would be a reasonable expectation at auction, but with the chance it could go for more with the right bidders? Yes definitely a 45b. I’d be very surprised if it didn’t go to above £800+ at auctio...

Re: MOC Empire Strikes Back Palitoy Darth Vader

For what it’s worth here was my breakdown on rarity although it’s hard to distinguish some of them as most 45b other than a handful are quite rare. I think Andy Clarke felt there were a few more Vader’s out there and it should be a ‘Rare’ rather than ‘Very Rare’. He had 2 himself at one point. On th...

Re: MOC Empire Strikes Back Palitoy Darth Vader

I’d say it was a bit more than that in today’s market. Whilst the non logo 45b is a little less desirable. Vader is a relatively rare one and it looks in great shape. I’d say £800+ I’m putting together a run of 45b myself so please let me know if you are looking to part with this as I’d definitely b...

Re: Guidance Advised: 2,387 Vintage Figures Melted

Don't give him the credit he's looking for by clicking on the link and viewing the video. People always do destructive things to get attention. Regardless of whether he likes or loathes Star Wars, they are worth something - probably quite a lot. So it's about as smart as someone setting fire to a pi...

Re: Custom made wall shelves

That is a great idea. i do like the idea of being able to adjust the shelves. I've been contemplating contacting this company for a custom made to measure display case. Lots of really smart options but not cheap. https://www.luminati.co.uk/catalogsearch/result/?q=shelves https://www.luminati.co.uk/d...

Re: Custom made wall shelves

Ask this chap, may be able to help? http://www.starwarsforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=38570 Thanks for the link. Yes i saw some of these in another recent thread. They look fantastic but perhaps more suited to loose figures. I'm looking for something mainly for carded and a fairly simple desig...

Custom made wall shelves

Hi All, I’ve given up with pre made shelving. Anyone know where I can get custom made wall shelves for displaying loose and carded figures. I’ve been saying for years I’m going to get a decent wall display put up but I have limited space apart from a landing wall and I’m looking for something not to...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

I've not posted here in quite a while but feel the urge to share my chuft-ness at a common toy. I fancied an Imperial Transport and it was important the electrics worked. I saw this one listed as making some sort of vague sound so I bought it up with a view to pressing the buttons for a while to se...

Re: Vectis Sale 30th January

I got a couple of pieces but paid more than I was hoping for. And of course a couple of pieces I missed due to bad timing went for prices I would have been very happy with.
