Re: Show of your truly rare items

Yeah always lots of other gems tucked away in the background of his photos :D

Not picked up any more pieces for the run in a few years now. Just the ESB 48c and POTF cromalin left to find but have kind of given up on them. Not really buying pre production these days.

Re: Show of your truly rare items

I’ve let most of my pre production stuff go over the last few years but still have my R5 proofs and cromalins. Most of the pieces are unique one of a kind but if I had to choose a piece that stands out... R5-D4 unproduced POTF proof card. It’s the only POTF proof card of any sort for this figure and...

Re: ESB Palitoy Boba Fett Figure

Thanks James, awesome info as always.

So small c Hong Kong is number 2 on Wolff’s COO guide? And majority of these have degraded limbs? They almost look like the limbs of the PBP / trilogo figure!

Re: ESB Palitoy Boba Fett Figure

Cool thanks for the info that’s really helpful. That’s a variant I’ll have to look out for.

Also I didn’t realise the Hong Kong COO could be found with the black belt too!?

Have any other Fett variations been found on ESB Palitoy cards? I haven’t seen many carded ones to be able to confirm myself.

Re: ESB Palitoy Boba Fett Figure

Ah ok I hadn’t heard of this variation. I had just assumed it was discolouration. I’m a bit out of touch with variants these days.

Any variant experts able to confirm which Boba Fett figure’s are found on ESB Palitoy cards? Hong Kong, Taiwan, Tri Logo??

Thanks Oli

Re: The day is coming....repro MOC

They look scarily convincing in a picture but I’d expect up close it would be hard to replicate the quality of lithographic printing.

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week

A nice idea and these types of threads are always enjoyable to read, not to mention good for reference. Just a suggestion though - might make it easier if the subject line / title of each post had the actual toy name so that you know what you are clicking on when you see a new post.

Re: Farthest from favour!

So you’ve been asking everyone to find you an OB1 MOC for about 6 months but don’t actually have the money to pay for it. Now it’s everyone else’s fault! WTF!

Re: Set loose from an AFA tomb

I don't mind grading myself. I like the display aspect of it when they get it right but don't care much for the actual grades and pop reports. I'd settle for a lower grade if the bubble was clear and no price sticker. Funnily enough I actually prefer my pre production stuff ungraded and have pretty ...
