No he runs CIB who provide authentication services to AFA. You can send it to Tom Direct or to AFA who will ask him to Authenticate it.

Re: Help needed with unusual Luke farm boy

Good spot on the gap at top of the leg. It’s strange that the leg isn’t missing any other detail.

I’d still be inclined to send it in for authentication. I’ve had quite a few short legged Luke’s but never one that didn’t have a COO.

Re: Help needed with unusual Luke farm boy

Where do you live? UK or USA? It's hard to be 100% from the pictures alone but from what I've seen I'd be sending it off for authentication.

Re: Help needed with unusual Luke farm boy

I dont think it's a short shot as there seems to be quite a bit of detail all over the legs.

It does look like a first shot. Do you have any close up macro pictures of the back of the left thigh? Whats the background on the piece?

The old “what’s is this, it must be worth a fortune” bullshit from that attention seeking loser John.

Wouldn’t touch anything he sold with a barge pole unless you like helping scammers.

Re: How I lost my parcel

OK wow you even put both your phone numbers on the package and the recipient hasn't tried to contact you! How could they get it sooo wrong!

I would file a police report. It should be fairly easy for them to locate it given that DHL have the name and address that it was delivered to.

Re: How I lost my parcel

It's outrageous that AusPost or DHL could ship it to the wrong country and address and not tell you what that address would be. You'd think that this would be retrievable. If DHL cant tell you the address is it worth reporting to the police? I mean the items not lost, it's being withheld from you wh...

Re: At what age does it drop off?

I've heard the peak age for collecting in general is 55 due to greatest disposable income and time. If the average Star Wars collector' is now around 40 then I'd guess there are another 15 years till things level off and begin any sort of decline in interest and value.

Re: Come on!!!!

Wow $46k! I sold my white coat Bib Fortuna last year for about 1/4 of that price. The red might be a bit more desirable but they both exist in similar numbers. In fact there are less loose examples of the white coat Bib.

Re: Exciting possibly new coo discovery

I was referring to these particular figures as they are carded samples that are known to have made it into retail bins and have turned up in Australia somehow. I don't know for sure but i wouldn't be surprised if they had copyright markings on them. Being 65 back wave characters I don't believe they...

Re: Exciting possibly new coo discovery

I dont think many pre production figures ended up on cards with the intention of being sold. A lot of the carded samples were on a different character card from a previous wave. It's pretty evident that these wouldn't have been for retail purposes but nonetheless some carded samples like these did m...
