Re: Displaying Helmets

Hi mate - we don't have cases for helmets right now

One of the best (and cheapest) ways I have seen people display them is to get either an upright toilet roll or kitchen roll holder - stick a tennis ball on the end and maybe some decals on the bottom

Re: THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 46 LAUNCHED

Cheers for all the kind words guys - love speaking with the lads (although not sure about that American twang) - it is pretty hard supporting a very mediocre football team - especially out here where no-one has ever heard of them ! ThinK the VR lads do a fantastic job - to give up so much of their f...

Re: When did collecting become so aggressive?

Hi Simon, I had no idea that the GBP was creeping back up. Well now, this is a game changer! Off to eBay.com, I go! (Also, thank you, everybody for the great advice, I really do appreciate it :) ) Yeah, that would be the brexit meltdown every one predicted. Everyone's an economist. Given the...

And to top it off, the GBP is up to $1.42 at the moment. When you were last here you'd have been looking at about $1.25 to there's a good 10%+ discount on buying in from the US.

Re: When did collecting become so aggressive?

Hi mate - good to see you back on-board - and sorry that you had to deal with that twat on eBay I think the current climate in the hobby can be a bit aggressive -especially to those that were collecting a while ago - the demand for certain figures has gone through the roof and you are sometimes payi...

Re: Decided to sell some more.

I have bought from Andrew in the past. It is still the best packed MOC I have ever bought. Just ask Iain Sanderson. Buy with confidence. Yes Andy is a top man - the story of how he got these cards is fantastic - I purchased lots from him before and a great number of them are still in my collection....

I think Chirps is a very underated figure and always had a soft spot for the Rebel Commando ever since I found one in a hedge with a chewed foot back in 1983

Re: Din I get conned selling

I am still unsure as to what happened here - you went into a FB group - spoke to an admin and promised him the sale if he gave you a valuation ? Surely you would have been better getting someone else to value it rather than the buyer ?

Re: Rate TLJ out of ten

I am a solid 7 out of 10 - lots of bits wrong for me - the way they handed Luke was not how I would have wanted it to play out - although I do understand why they did it - Mary Poppins was ridiculous and some poor character development - that being said as a film it was good - I enjoyed the comedy, ...
