Re: Latest Acquisitions

It's great to come back to this thread and get a fresh fix of Vintage Star Wars. Some awesome items being shown off. Page 2128 Andy Preston - Mate i love the Gamester magazine. We mention it on the latest podcast. I noticed that they spelt Peter Cushing's name wrong and called David Prowse 'Dave'. C...

Re: What do you do when you hit a Brick Wall?

im not a high end collector, but there are still hard to come by items that I pursue (vinyl especially, some modern lines that appeared briefly). You have to be constantly working towards it, new selling areas pop up all the time, auctions, facebook groups, people selling up, whispers rumours. Ther...

Re: Are prices going up?

I'm mad with myself that I got out of collecting vintage SW in 2002 due to the cost of it, but i'm also glad i'm getting back into it now because in 10 years from now after all these new Star Wars films etc prices will most likely skyrocket more than what they already have, so in a waaay i'm kind o...

Re: THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 37 LAUNCHED

Enjoyed it as usual. I feared the worst when it started with just Rich and Jez, I thought Grant and Stu had left too! But the guest hosts did a good job. I do have one bit of feedback, a couple of the music clips were far too loud. The "only you can decide..." bit at the end is always too...

OK, so contrary to popular belief Spoons!, I don't have much spare time. I had to do the last podcast without actually doing a mass update, so this one pretty much takes in 6 weeks worth of LA goodness! Re: Auction Purchase - Reseal?

That's not at all clear is it. I'd say that description is abiguous at best. Nothing about separated, nothing about reseals. Arguable and totally winnable I reckon.
Sorry for your disappointment.

Some lovely pieces there, something for everyone i'd say.
Best of luck to everyone bidding. I hope that some SWFUKERs get what they are after.
