Re: Becoming desensitised to money due to collecting?

Interesting subject matter Edd & something I have found myself considering more & more over the last couple of years, I've been at this a while now & when I first got into collecting again I did the buy anything & everything thing we most have & had a right jumble of stuff which ...

WANTED - Cut cards

Hey folks, well times are changing & there's not many baggies floating about at fair prices these days :( So I thought it'd be nice to put a little run of cut cards together, I only have 3 so far (power Droid / Luke XW & Imperial commander) & would love to add a few more, ideally 1st 21 ...

Re: Woolworths Special Buy 99p 8 packs

It's crazy that these were just sitting around on clearance shelves for 99p. 99p for eight figures! Talk about trying to shift stock of a dying toy line. Think what they're worth now. Also that's only equivalent to £2.85 now. Now they want £15 for a shitty modern 2 pack. I've got a question for the...

Re: Destruction of ships/vehicles is getting too much.

I have noticed this alarming trend seems to have got totally out of hand & is very disturbing, sadly greed seems to be human nature for the most part :( It's a sad state of affairs, I remember stripping down an at at & falcon years back & giving the useful parts away to one of the guys o...

I never actually saw them in stores but I am sure Laurence Dyer or Delboy could confirm for sure, 85 seems to ring a bell for me, there were 2 offer run of them in the same year BTW

Re: More AFA Preferential Grading

I have noticed for many years that the big volume sellers (flippers) that submit tonnes of stuff on a rota (including many that serial U graded) seem to get a better grade than say Mr X who submits an item or 5 once in a blue moon (regular normal customers), it's another reason in a long line of rea...

Re: AFA end loose u-grading

AFA have confirmed they won’t be opening stuff going forwards. Jason & that has to be a good thing I know, but I have to say I am totally with weasel on this, his post pretty much sums up exactly how I feel, well put weaz!, sadly all those MOC & Baggies can never be put back to the way they ...

Re: AFA end loose u-grading

My first thoughts were also does this actually mean they are going to stop opening sealed items, if that is indeed the case it's a huge win for the hobby as a whole, if not then this is a hollow gesture, I am keeping my fingers crossed it is the former. I am sure this announcement will delight the l...

Re: 4-LOM Mailer Baggie

It is possible, I asked someone stateside yesterday their thoughts, someone with weight & a lot of experience & his initial quick assessment was correct box, but fake baggie, it then came to my mind about the overstock palitoy find in Australia, there were a great many mint loose 4 lom's in ...
