Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 7, 2019, Part 2/2

That’s a lot of cape variations Jeremy - impressive!

I bought this off Edd many years ago on the forum, apparently it’s quite a rare combination and I know of one other.

Great examples Lars and Jeremy. Lovely to see them - one that has long been on my want list

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 6, 2019, Part 2/2

Awesome Tie Collection, I had no idea there are so many - glorious times back then when so many countries did their own "imprint" on the cards, or even their own "Star Wras" Logo. Is there a japanese wooden Tie there in the middle? :-) great. Do you also have a Takara? Probably ...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 6, 2019, Part 2/2

Well there you go...I’ve never seen a die cast mailer before. Thanks for enlightening me. Just to say it again that really is an impressive run. Martin, that run of yours is coming on nicely, really like the foreign carded ones. Glad its appreciated. Some of the later mailers had folded MOCs in the...

Thanks both,

Nick - I've got a couple of TIE Mailers one sealed and one open. The earlier version doesn't have any text on the box

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 6, 2019, Part 2/2

Coming along nicely Martin!

I just need the Meccano TIE to finish my run, but the Toltoys, Canada 20 and Harbert all need upgrading to fully factory sealed examples.

Re: Mixing and matching accessories ...

There are some figure that just don't make sense what Kenner chose to pair up with accessories wise. I'm torn personally as I prefer to collect how things were originally sold, but displaying looks so much better with a more movie accurate selection. Here are some of my favourites that seem to make...

I didn’t know there was a name change on this either, but you have some great examples. Presumably there’s a Canadian one too?

I have this Palitoy in a bit of tatty box but it does for me

Very true and heartfelt words Poncho. I look and feel my collection everyday and smile, especially after a shitty day at work, looking forward to growing my collection and the continued joy it brings to me :D I’m exactly the same Russ. Great sentiment Chris and good to see those great figures in ac...

Re: THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 56 LAUNCHED

Well done lads that was a great show. Really enjoyed Darren's interview and he had me close to tears with his tale of destruction  On which note how about a new final question for interviewees - your collection is about to be destroyed by the under fives, which one piece do you keep? I'm surpri...

Didn’t seem too many bargains. The only thing that jumped out at me were the xpensive single micro sets but the world sets went quite cheap
