Another one I can do. No real story behind this other than it’s a great toy. A tatty box but excellent contents

Found this old photo of all my Waddingtons jigsaws - all a product of York Races car boot sale in the early 1990s The ROTJ ones came with these great posters, but my Vader box is missing its one. Jigsaws.jpg DSC00005.JPG DSC00009.JPG Best to say nothing about the truly terrible Jigsaw jokes

An interesting toy of the week this week, and not seen some of those puzzles before.

Here are my Washington’s ones - missing one piece from one of them :-(

Lots of lovely die cast on the past few pages, and some real oddities (and madines)

Always envious of ESB R2s too

Great pickups everyone

Re: WATCH OUT THREAD – ANOTHER FAKE ITEM DISCOVERED

Sorry to read this Frank, I hope you aren't losing heart with baggie collecting there are some good guys out there. Your work in exposing all these fakes is really appreciated. Who is making this stuff ? There does seem to be a common source reading Laurence's recent post and Frank's past posts but ...

Thanks Jeremy, I probably will try again but they do take up a lot of space and the nostalgia isn't quite there for me

Re: THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 50 LAUNCHED

A long one indeed, I listened to half hour stints whilst on holiday and I did find that by the end of the podcast I'd forgotten some of the earlier content. When I listen in one go that isn't a problem. All enjoyable but it does make feedback difficult :) I also liked Mark's reseal piece and good to...

Re: THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 50 LAUNCHED

Thanks for putting the pics up Stu - an hour and a half in and a good listen so far As to high end items, I would never sell my collection to buy just one item My view on the high end pieces is that the value is all to do with popularity and status, which ties in to what you guys and Carl were sayin...
