Re: The Last Jedi - **SPOILERS THREAD**

Can’t agree with the ‘great acting’ comments for Mark Hamill. He was fine for some parts but some scenes he was playing Mark Hamill rather than Luke Skywalker. Mark was much better in ROTJ Carrie Fisher was ok, but Adam Driver acted everybody off screen. I didn’t like Kylo as a character before this...

Re: The Last Jedi - **SPOILERS THREAD**

Agree with a lot of what you guys have said about it, good story, nice twists (loved the fact Rey isn’t a Skywalker) and good action. The worst scene is the Leia in space and Akbar’s underwhelming death. Akbar should have been the one to sacrifice himself to save the fleet and scrap the purple haire...

Re: Farthest From XVI - 9th and 10th December 2017

What a great weekend! Think I spent more on food and drink than Star Wars!! Got some great purchases from Rob Marsh (aided by Mr Skinners fantastic sales patter!) plus the Luke x wing from Jez, courtesy of negotiating with Pete! Shame Spoons snapped up all the quality Galaxy Wars items from the loc...

Re: SPOILER FREE Reviews/Reaction to TLJ

Went to a double bill, which I dont think helped TLJ as TFA was still excellent after not having seen it for a year and Last Jedi didn't match it for quality. Thought it had a poor start not helped by people cackling through every pun, which gave it a probably unfair feel of being too slapstick. Sus...

Re: What do you regret the most from your time in the hobby?

Very few regrets really, and a few lessons. In the late 90s I got stung buying a Lando General with a Squid Head cape from a toy fair. Cost me £30 when that was a lot of money to me, so I was a lot more careful after that. Couple of pieces that I passed on I regret. A Han Hoth 65 back proof for £135...

Re: End of 2017 Onto 2018

I did all right last year and got my three main targets, a Han Hoth offerless 48 back, a Palitoy die cast X-Wing MOC and a small wing DV TIE on a TIE card I dont plan to add too much this year 1. Some pre-prod die cast would be nice. 2. One or more of the micro collection wampa cave, carbonite set a...

Re: THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 42 LAUNCHED

I only had a DV TIE, speeder bike and INT-4 and eventually got a second hand Landspeeder. The rich kids up the road had two of everything so never felt I was missing out, always got to play with a spare at at

Re: THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 42 LAUNCHED

Been holding back on this one until I had a long drive. Wales and back was just the job. I found Jesse’s interview interesting and scary. A run of 16 for over $100k is serious business. To add to the die cast bomber discussion, the ESB falcon, cruiser and y wing are as rare or perhaps rarer than the...
