Re: Fake Darth Vader vinyl cape ? HELP

I keep meaning to ask, did they come with saber and do you have shots? I bought them from a guy in spain, both of them but they were without sabers :( but I am still happy that I got a coo that I was missing and maybe 2 new original cape variants that I have never seen before  I will check t...

Re: Fake Darth Vader vinyl cape ? HELP

The pattern is more clearly visible on this one. Again I can see similarities with the capes I have. Regarding the pattern on the childhood Vader I purchased, it is only visible when examined under a magnifying glass, shot with a good camera, or with a naked eye in good daylight when viewed from th...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 28, 2018, Part 2/2

Quite simply, I have very good reason to believe that that specific figure came from a Palitoy 20 Back card. I can't be 100% certain as I didn't open it, but given what I know about it, I am 99.9% sure :-) Sounds great, thanks any picture of the coo ? :D Sorry, I'm not sure if you're joking (if so,...

Re: Fake Darth Vader vinyl cape ? HELP

4th pic down suggests appearance of horizontal pattern, 7th pic down shows vertical striations. I would say it demonstrates similar characteristics to mine and those in Javi’s book. But I can’t say for sure. It’s hard from photos and not in hand. As mentioned I will be seeking clarification of both...

Re: Fake Darth Vader vinyl cape ? HELP

I have two PBP Vaders with the smooth both sides cape. One is softer and more flexible (similar to a zip cape), while the other is more rigid (similar to the rugose PBP cape), just like you. Of the two, the softer is from a childhood collection which I purchased along with the original PBP cardback...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 28, 2018, Part 2/2

Coincidentally, like Jeremy, I have a Euro / PBP Snaggletooth with Partial Scar No Coo, as well as a PBP Small Scar No Coo. I am missing the Big Scar No Coo. Note the difference in colours which comes about from the different type of plastic that PBP used. The Euro Partial Scar No Coo has no PBP sm...
