Re: Is Star Wars only for the rich ?

Last month a solo poch carback sold for £745, fucking crazy I do not know how many money people have to buy for. But I think many collectors maybe have between £50 and £200 every month. So with some prices today it would take more than 50 years to complete a full run of some foreign items, I think ...

Re: Solo: A Star Wars Story Solo SPOILERS

Nice interview with Ron Howard about Solo, apparently his old mentor Lucas spent a day on set and gave some direction!

Re: 3 more movies announced from GoT Writers

Very exciting news, and as a big Game Of Thrones fan I couldn't be happier with this choice. They seem really well suited to explore 'ancient' times, the Old Republic era perhaps. It should also be noted that these seeds being sown may not be manifesting as movies for some considerable time, Game Of...

Re: Toy Run Podcast

And of anyone can provide a direct link for an mp3 that doesn't involve third party software id appreciate it. I'm living in hospital for a while and won't be near my pc. Werth hospital WiFi being what it is, i like to dl files with a trainee rather than steam. Bloody podbean. It lets me dl anythin...

Re: Toy Run Podcast

Nice one, it's at The Willis Museum in Basingstoke till April 14th, and then its at Experience Barnsley from April 21 - July 15. At the risk of sounding mysterious it will be at further venues but I cant say which as the museum press people like to control the announcement.

Stu, please give Rich the responsibility to report Biker Scout's victory on the next podcast. I just want to hear him saying the word 'biker' lots. :D

Re: Toy Run Podcast

Great stuff Matt! Not listened to toy run before so enjoyed some new voices. Coincidentally my sister and her family went to the exhibition this weekend and she invited us all down to go again as they enjoyed it so much With the news that Barnsley is next I’ll be seeing it twice! Glad she liked it,...

Re: Solo: A Star Wars Story Trailer... TONIGHT!!!!

I wasn't expecting the short teaser from yesterday to include different footage than the full length trailer, nice surprise! I have to say this looks very good and some new imagery that we haven't seen before in a SW film (although the giant tentacles did remind me a bit of the Gungan sub sequence f...

Re: Solo: A Star Wars Story Trailer... TONIGHT!!!!

Great teaser. It defo reminds me more of Rogue One than the OT. I like the Star Destroyer coming in through the clouds and the scale of some of the sets. The musical refrain at the end is also similar to the Rogue One theme. Look forward to seeing the full length!

Re: POTF Planetary Maps ?

Yes Lars your list is right. The only slight anomalies are that the Skiff didn't include the prominent yellow offer 'Planetary Map Inside' on the box like all the others did, and that the Glasslite versions of the ATL Interceptor and Side Gunner did not include the map (it was Kenner only). Thanks ...

Toy Run Podcast

I hope Stu, Rich and the boys will forgive me for making a shout out to Toy Run podcast. Ian put me in touch with them and I was interviewed on this week's episode. The interviewer was Criz Bee who was himself also on the Vintage Rebellion back on Ep 29, I think we had a great chat, always good talk...

Re: Kenner’s Star Wars Sweepstakes Leaflet

Hi Jay, I don't know 100% would be the answer! I suspect the Sweepstakes leaflet could have been popped into any wave 2 boxed toys from Kenner (Falcon, Sandcrawler, Creature Cantina, Imp Troop Transporter, Droid Factory, DV TIE Fighter, Land of the jawas and Dewback). Any US toy from 1979.
