Re: How I lost my parcel

Crappy thing to happen to you, especially since you had nothing to gain other than helping someone out.
Hope good karma can make its way back to you and it shows up after the holidays.
This time of year is kaotic for postal services, could be (hope so) that they send it back

Re: Is this really a childhood DV Lightsaber?

This saber is a different mold to any shown on TIG, yes it is a real and original saber,
if your Ben saber is the same then take it out of the repro bag.

Re: Ben Kenobi Saber

V3 repro (shown in TIG)
Thicker tip, has a slight texture to the shaft, also may have a tiny bit if excess plastic at bottom of tip (small dab of plastic)

Re: Cures Or Cares for Sticky Figures

Some clean hot water and wash them should remove the residue.
Some of the acid free ziplock baggies are good for storage.

Re: Vintage Darth Vader figure, removable helmet??

That would refer to Kenner Green cards and Red cards 1995 ???
But when reading it again it does sound like an attempt in the 80's.

Re: Latest Acquisitions (Autograph) Thread

Hope this is OK to share here, not a new addition, but feels like it today after taking this out of storage for a look and to take some photos.
My favaourite autograph related item, 3x5 index card Darth Vader cast and crew.

Re: Do these sabres look ok?

Just had a look at marsking completed listings, and the version 3 is this repro. You can see the texture in his photos, and the tip area defect. Marsking photos below marsking.jpg marsking1.jpg For some reason TIG still has this listed as Version 3, but needs to be updated This textured saber has ne...

Re: Do these sabres look ok?

Just a heads up guys, the UV light test is a cool little trick, but does not help with repro from original. Originals will glow, SAME as some repros will glow under UV. If your flat tip Luke saber (the one on the top in photo) has a texture to it then it is more than likely a repro, sorry to say. Th...

Re: Coin Offer Cardbacks

Some rare cases you can also find them on esb card backs too. They are not as easy to find but are present on the main charecters too. The Kellerman book has a picture or two of coin offer stickers on Star Wars logo cards. They must be like hens teeth though I had seen the R2 SW card with the coin ...

Re: Coin Offer Cardbacks

Great photo Oscar! I also have an ESB 45 back with a Coin offer and a lead on a POTF Vader with a Coin sticker. Haven't managed to get the POTF in the focus yet, but there are two other variations to add to the list. I love the fact that there are POTF cards with this offer. My favourite is Boba Fe...
