Re: Latest Acquisitions

And now ....Mr Fett Kenner 21 back to add to the mixed Kenner/Pali 20/21 back start of a run ( I will be a while collecting these) Mr Fett has a replacement bubble but this is fine for me as the card has a large tear as well, but has been sympathetically treated and I think displays superbly for me...

Re: Marvel Vintage Star Wars figure variant comics

How’s everyone doing with their sets? Have to admit I’m in the process of possibly selling mine off! I guess you're not doing so well with them then  I gave up a long time ago, I was going to get the first 30 released characters (from Palitoy), but they started holding characters back and mess...

I think the last one that went on ebay was up at around just over £550 so even though yours has the nameplate missing (although neatly done), I think it could go quite high on ebay, maybe into the £100's.

Re: Cardback restoration

Thats a great job you've done with those Lee, you can't even tell and I love that you've bought them back to their original glory!

Now you just have to put some figures in them and job done :D

Re: Any Die Cast experts in the house?

Thank you for the information gents and my mistake about calling it Micro Collection (I was up since 4am with a sick child so I use that as an excuse  ). As I suspected it does seem to be a standard version but I didn't know about the scratch test and smaller body shape so that's all great to k...

Any Micro collections experts in the house?

Well hopefully that got you to take a look Spoons  I'm 99% sure I know the answer to this already but I thought I'd just double check anyway. I bought this Micro Tie Fighter years ago and it was sold from an American ex-Kenner employee (so say at least), as some sort of Tie prototype. I was mor...

Re: AFA end loose u-grading

The U grade should have never happened in the first place but there's no point thinking about that now as what's done is done and I'm sure the people who never agreed with this probably boycotted AFA years ago. It's a positive announcement though for the future and will help AFA's rep in the longter...

Re: Cardback restoration

Great work gents, can't wait to see some more :D This is an old picture of mine but I mounted these two seal polity 12 back cut cards to their card backs. It took me ages trying to find the right card back with very little damage so that I could mount these but it's the closest I have now to owning ...
