Re: The "Lost" Empire Strikes Back Documentary by Michel Parbot (1980)

That was a fantastic doc and it's amazing how long it's taken for that to surface. Shooting on location in Finse looked to be really tough and I did feel for the poor Wampa actor. I did hear about this doc on RFR the other day but thank you for posting up the link as it's always great to see somethi...

Re: Latest Modern Acquisitions

I always enjoy looking on this thread although forget to post up the odd new item I have. Some great items have been on here recently and it's always nice to see what people have been picking up. Here's my latest 2 pickups and even though I decided with Solo to bow out of picking up any more modern ...

Re: Becoming desensitised to money due to collecting?

My spending on Star Wars has certainly slowed down to a crawl over the last few years although it hasn't stopped me spending money on other toy lines. I have however become more aware of the amount I'm spending recently due to becoming self employed again and have been selling off a few things to fu...

Re: Were you a "one toy line" kid?

Even though I had a variety of different toys growing up my only toys I had as some sort of collection other than Star Wars was Action Man, lego, Britains space figures/vehicles and LJN Advanced Dungeons and Dragons figures. That's about it other than various model kits but I did have lots of one of...

Power Droid 20 D card back and Bubble?

Hi all, As you can see I came across this 20 D power Droid opened card back with the pop removed. Apart from the pop damage everything else is in pretty decent shape with a nice dent free bubble but I was just wondering about a rough value. The only one I can find that's the same is on Ebay.com pric...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

These just arrived today. A compete set of the SW Series Dixie Cups boxes. I’ve been eyeballing these for a few years but never pulled the trigger. A buddy of mine decided to sell his set so I jumped at it. The artwork on these is so cool. 261E4CB2-291A-43B4-B8D9-B9C17E08D1A6.jpeg 29626D66-B306-4B4...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

And now ....Mr Fett Kenner 21 back to add to the mixed Kenner/Pali 20/21 back start of a run ( I will be a while collecting these) Mr Fett has a replacement bubble but this is fine for me as the card has a large tear as well, but has been sympathetically treated and I think displays superbly for me...

Re: Marvel Vintage Star Wars figure variant comics

How’s everyone doing with their sets? Have to admit I’m in the process of possibly selling mine off! I guess you're not doing so well with them then  I gave up a long time ago, I was going to get the first 30 released characters (from Palitoy), but they started holding characters back and mess...
