Oh so tempting Grant, maybe if known bites you could see it as a sign to finish off the good work you've started.

22 Grant!

You may well have gotten a little too over excited with putting that lot together but all the best with your various sales and the backpacking trip will be amazing I'm sure.

Those troopers do look nice though all together like that 8)

Re: 12 Backs on a BUDGET discussion

Thanks for the info Ian. Willing to look at any condition examples TBH, but will more than likely start off with lower end items and ease my way in. Probably try and track down a few of my childhood figures to kick off with (DSC, Vader, Stormtrooper). Have you got any of those to let go? :D Jon I d...

Re: 12 Backs on a BUDGET discussion

I have a few 12 back reseals to let go of but the condition on those isn't as good as these, are you looking for a nice set or thinking lower examples at a lower price are for you? Thanks for the info Ian. Willing to look at any condition examples TBH, but will more than likely start off with lower...

Re: 12 Backs on a BUDGET discussion

Looking to get into some Palitoy sliced/reseal action. There's been a few 12 back examples on Ebay recently with a £300 BIN. Decent condition, some with footers. I'm assuming these were way overpriced. Not really sure what constitutes a reasonable price. Would the £100 range be more of a realistic ...

Re: 12 Backs on a BUDGET discussion

I didn't realise you were after Kenner ones so there will be quite a few 20 backs to choose from and the prices will be better on these. I've no idea how often the Kenner ones come up but I'm sure there will be more available. I have a complete 12 back Kenner resealed run also which didn't cost to m...

Re: 12 Backs on a BUDGET discussion

From my point of view I think resell are a great way to put together a budget run and there's some fun in finding nice examples along the way. The prices for these can vary quite a bit due to condition and if they're complete with footers and figures so it does depend on what condition you would be ...

Re: Really?

That does seem unlikely but maybe some super rare card back variant (or maybe just a desperate buyer with to much money)?

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 18, 2018, Part 1/2

Thanks for the comments guys and I'm just glad I finally got to show it to you all after all this time. It is the biggest box out of the 3 world sets which I have and this one is in the nicest condition and was from a nice chap over in the States who had both this one and the Hoth Turret I have up o...

if any of you have a Hoth world Action Playset then please share it in this thread  Finally got to it Lars! This example is all unused and I only took out of it what I dared to for fear of not getting it all back in again  I've also added to this thread the one missing part of Hoth World...

Re: Best way to flatten curved cardback?

thanks for the advice! its just cardback without bubble (not a MOC) so i'll give the book a go... If this is the case, perhaps just put it in a toploader? You will need to make sure the size is right, but here's an example if you've not heard of them before: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ultra-Pro-Toplo...

Re: Palitoy VCJ ebay

This is a Palitoy VCJ bubble attached to card but with slit to remove the figure. I already have a reseal just looking for upgrade. I sold 2 Palitoy cloth cape reseal a few years ago for £45 each!! Sad story to hear you didn't manage to get that VCJ, I would have loved it but knew it would go...
