Re: Palitoy landfill

This will be very interesting. My sister lives in Leicester and a year or two back i had a very interesting talk with a friend of my sister. I was introduced to the grandmother of her friend who just so happened to work at Palitoy back in the day and she rememberd the Star Wars years. She actually r...

Re: For sale : solid dome r2 (pics in link)

Are they JPEGs? Do you resize them? Are you using the actual photo uploader? I also noticed on another thread you though that your Virgin media service could be a problem, but im on VM and have never had this issue. In all fairness, i can see why some people are getting frustrated. You are using thi...

Re: Woolworths Special Buy 8 Star Wars Figures for 99p Pack Research Findings

As ive just moved im unable to find mine at the minute but ill post a pic asap. As i said before, i had 3 emptys from an Ewok Village box a feq years ago. Its worrying to think that a piece of tape and a label is what people pay rediculous amounts for. I intend on shoving some figures in mine and di...

Count Dooku's testicles were broken by Anakin Skywalker in EP3.
Some other processes like these also happen in other EPS - Ben Kenobi had serious piles on the Falcon
Why ?because there us no Anusol n Space?

Re: Woolworths Special Buy 8 Star Wars Figures for 99p Pack Research Findings

And the winner for "thread of the year'... Fantastic work Laurence. A great insight into these. I used to have three empty bags with the sticker which were found at the bottom of an Ewok village box. I still have 1 somewhere but god knows where it is. Empty bags are still desirable because you ...

Re: The day is coming....repro MOC

The real problem is with MOC values as high as they are, there is absolutely a financial motive for criminals to manufacture convincing fakes of rare cards. Litho printing is (so I'm told) quite expensive, but at some point it becomes economically worthwhile for a faker to invest in it if they can ...

Re: The day is coming....repro MOC

Personally I don’t agree although they look pretty convincing you just can’t replicate that vintage smell . Lets remember there are some original MOC that don't have that smell you refer to. The smell of the figure inside yes, but as for the cardstock etc not a chance. Many times it comes with age,...
