Re: Vintage Star Wars Droids Vlix Figure in 12in 300pcs Limited Edition Worldwide

Gentle Giant will no doubt do a 12" version as part of their modern repro line as it a guaranteed money maker. So not sure why anyone would buy a fan made one as it seems pretty pointless.

As for Vlix, he's awesome and part of the licensed vintage line.

Re: v weapons....

I think it's a bit harsh to say 'made up', I agree that Kenner didn't call these accessories a 'v5' or a 'v whatever', but this is a term which collectors have adopted themselves to identify the different sculpts. Take for example Wollf's excellent COO guide, the example below shows the IG-88 figure...

Re: anyone own any toptoys loose figures?

Talking of Top Toys figures I've been photographing my Luke Jedi for the next installment of my reference guide.

It's a shame some of these seem almost impossible to track down nowadays and those that do pop up are usually incomplete.

Re: A List of late PBP figures which can be found loose outside of Spain

Javi's list tries to show what countries the original packed figures where shipped to back in the day. Obviously since then dealers and collectors have shipped them all around the world. The overall aim is to try and show people that Spain isn't the only source to find these in childhood lots. Happy...

I don't get it. I collect variants of each figure but multiples of the same one just leaves me baffled.

Nice. There are 3 versions of this poster, the common Palitoy and the rarer Dutch/Clipper and German/Parker so congrats! All 3 have different artwork on the reverse... http://i.imgur.com/P4lThCv.jpg Image borrowed from my limelight over on TIG... http://www.imperialgunneryforum.com/t7480-walkie-s-re...

Reminds me of the shite my kids watch where someone opens a series of play-doh eggs to reveal a piece of plastic tat each time.

What has the world come to ?!??

I'm tempted to start a series myself called, watch me open my gas bill
