Re: Little something I have been working on

Yer looks superb, a landspeeder would be cool too about 2 inches off the ground.
I just wish I had a spare room which I could use as a 'hang my loosies from the ceiling'.

Re: Report this clown

When people can only tell a fake by the type of case it's in or because the AFA number doesn't come up when checked on their website and not because the actual item in the case is obviously fake then you know the hobby is in a bad way. I'd like you to find me a collector who thinks that the hobby i...

Re: Opinions on grading/acrylic

I don't need someone else to tell me the condition of my collection and I like the choice of being able to handle what I own. Christians acrylic is all you need. Exactly it's essential to be able handle the card every so often. It's big business now getting stuff graded and selling on or stockpilin...

Re: Opinions on grading/acrylic

I like the acrylic cases but I'm not a fan of them being sealed and graded.

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Some great stuff, love those Palitoys and that Luke Gunner with the sabre lying in the bubble is a beauty. Always loved the photo's on those 6 packs just wish they were affordable and not so scarce! That broken up Jawa is cool too it's the first time I've seen a removable limbs figure apart from 3P0...

Re: Royal Mail Price Increases - 29/03/2016

I was actually thinking about buying a grands worth of stamps and keeping them for 10 years and then cashing them back in at the post office, got to be better than any saving account (since sometimes stamps go up 5p or more) but I'm not sure if they'd take them back. I know they're legal tender but...

Re: best material / glue to use for resealing

I don't see the point of reseals once it's out the bubble it looks much better as a loosie on display.
Do folk buy in repro bubbles for the reseal since I'm guessing most bubbles were thrown out?

Re: Memories from a 1980's Toy Shop

Great post, thanks for taking the time to put it down.....reminds me of going up the esculators on my birthday (my mom used to let me have the day off school) to the toy department at Lewis’s Birmingham in the late 80s, not sure on the year but must have been late as they were trying to sell of the...

Re: Memories from a 1980's Toy Shop

Yeah that bloody Klaatu was a pain in the ass wasn't he! Which is crazy considering how easy you can get him now ... The kids really loved speculating on the blacked out figures, it was great marketing and they always thought the shop staff knew the secret when in fact we knew nothing  Action ...
