Well, if you followed recent drama of the SW Battles group discussion, non-collectors won items and try to resell them at market price, is that a fake collector taking advantage of the lottery system to make money from true collectors? :?

eBay still the place for deals!!

Got this Jawa MOC square bubble (near perfect) on an unpunched 12 C cardback for $160. Only issue is the mark on the bubble and it cleaned right off with a damp cloth. Keep looking guys!!

Re: Does Trade Bait Work?

In my experience trait will work better trading rare stuff for rare stuff, don’t even bother with common stuff. I think like pre-production stuff maybe but you are risking it. I prefer just to buy what I want and not have cash tied up in things I can’t move!! Just my 2 cents!!

Re: Huge AFA graded production collection to be auctioned off later in the year

Am on the Hake’s site and can’t see all the collection :?: So I can see the DT Ben and Luke but no Vader :?: Can’t see the 3 95 grade 12 backs either :?: Apparently all the items will be spread out in multiple auctions over 12 months. I think you can request the catalog for free if you ask nicely!!...

Re: Response to Claims

I don't know but a few guesses: 1) Grading 900 baggies is a shit load of work 2) At their standard rate of £13.99 it would cost over 12 grand to grade them all 3) As many have said it doesn't really prove anything anyway, we all know many of Jeff's baggies are real, people are only interested in th...

Re: Response to Claims

Maybe I missed something, why is Jeff sending his baggies to CAS to be verified? I would thought it will more sense for UK & Europe to send to UKG and US to CAS, no? I am missing something right? UKG have refused to be involved any further. I see.... Thanks! Actually any reasons why UKG ...

Re: Farthest From XVI - 9th and 10th December 2017

Where abouts in Deutschland are you? Can you get to Gatwick? I live in a small village between Cologne and Düsseldorf - so I have two airports to fly from. But I think, flights to Gatewick might be more expensive, but I have to check it out. You think it might be easier from there to get to Fording...

Re: Buying from the States/Facebook

I have to agree that internet and FB have made the collecting world much smaller. I buy from US all the time, fortunately enough I have a good friend that take delivery in the US and every few months forward me a big parcel. You will see that some US sale postage is included within US and same with ...
