Re: Full MOC run

That's it in a nutshell, I've been reading posts and posting myself for years now, and that little nugget nails it for me " go with your heart...not your collector head". Your a real life Yoda with that comment. Seriously though, that's it for me, go with your heart, don't be clouded by wh...

Re: Mattel Star Wars figures...?

Yes the Clash of the titans range is awesome http://www.plaidstallions.com/mattel/clash.html I think the Kenner route gave us so many unique attributes to the fresh approach to figures that we were v lucky it went this way and we collect the vintage figures we do now. At the time kids had figures de...

Re: Princess Leia Boushh Card Split

General rule of thumb seems to be the value of the items I.e figure with complete accessories + cardback Then the desire ability of the piece ( I.e. LFB 12 back with figure and sliced bubble would command higher prices) Again it's all about what collectors want, in my case open bubbles let me collec...

Re: Response to Claims

Yep very sad indeed.

There are a number of FB Baggie groups one of which I think is run by Frank, my advice if you are looking to addbaggies/ mailers to your collection then this is the way to go to avoid getting stung! Safe havens with trustworthy collectors as always is the way to go

Re: Lightsabers - Anyone come across these guys

They look brilliant for the money, but looking at the link the photos of the Luke hilt look very much like MR sabres https://colorful-hairs.com/products/7-color-transformations-50-off-discount-free-shipping-star-wars-lightsaber?variant=12870677987386 Maybe I'm seeing things, but further down on the ...

Re: And This Is Why I Hate Toxic "Fan" Boys and Their Bitching!

Do we think the short time span between TLJ and Solo has had an effect on the so called "disappointing" box office results ( given that short time span had virtually no mainstream PR). Fans want more SW, but if it's rushed then there will always be holes and the propensity for Fan backlash...

Re: Stormy in the wild

What a great gift and very nice condition - lucky man! Have you had any luck cleaning the red from the legs? Any idea what it is? I have a Trilogo stormtrooper that has a similar red discoloration on its legs - I thought it happened in storage with colour transfer from my snaggletooth, but I can't ...

Re: Stormy in the wild

Thanks Lars, nice to know what the variant is, but I do not think I will be tempted to the dark side of variant collecting anytime soon. It is really absorbing once you start to delve into variants and very stressful I would imagine  My wife described some figures the shop had, seems he had, G...
