Re: 1983 Return of the Jedi Luke Jedi Knight Outfit figure

Certain cards are prone to yellow bubbles and the rarity of the card will have an effect on desirability to collectors, I.e rare card with a yellow bubble that completes a collectors run will by the very fact it is rare and desirable not detract as much on price, but a plentiful card with a yellow b...

Re: Yoda Focus up for sale

I sold up and never looked back. I now collect other things, things that don't cost an arm and a leg to buy. I still lurk around here because I made some good friends through here. Spot on mate ! Collecting isn't just about the collecting, it's always been the fun and comradery as well especially o...

Re: Recarding figures for display. Your thoughts...

Original cards with bubble sliced are another option, pop them in a toploader and they display really well, and it's vintage all the way. Still costly with 12 backs but nowhere near Moc prices.

Re: Selling my stuff

Use this link as a guideline http://www.starwarsforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=23184 You will get a better return on selling individually and you will get the best advice on here on what you have if you put pics up in the valuation thread. The flip side is don't list anything for sale when you ...

Re: Tsukuda Question

If you look carefully at punch holes/hang tabs you can often tell the factory code. ie. Taiwan is unperforated. You just match it up with an unstickered version. You can also look at pegholes and work out the figure mould family: http://www.imperialgunneryforum.com/users/3011/13/96/10/album/sdc1291...

Re: Time to call it a day.

The deciding factor is why you collected in the first place, think about that and get back to that reasoning, if you have been Drawn in to collecting past what you wanted in the first place, then has it become more of a case of something going a bit out of control and habit forming. As others have s...

Re: bubbles ?

Hi Lars Don't really know on values, for bubbles onthere own but maybe someone would trade for them For example someone may have a good condition PD cardback with no bubble that they could put the figure, card and bubble in a toploader for display, as that doesn't damage or alter any original compon...
