Re: And This Is Why I Hate Toxic "Fan" Boys and Their Bitching!

Do we think the short time span between TLJ and Solo has had an effect on the so called "disappointing" box office results ( given that short time span had virtually no mainstream PR). Fans want more SW, but if it's rushed then there will always be holes and the propensity for Fan backlash...

Re: Stormy in the wild

I have a Trilogo stormtrooper that has a similar red discoloration on its legs - I thought it happened in storage with colour transfer from my snaggletooth, but I can't ...

Re: Stormy in the wild

Thanks Lars, nice to know what the variant is, but I do not think I will be tempted to the dark side of variant collecting anytime soon. It is really absorbing once you start to delve into variants and very stressful I would imagine  My wife described some figures the shop had, seems he had, G...

Yes will be Kenner, Palitoy carry too much of a premium. Patience and plenty of time is the key.

Re: 12 Backs on a BUDGET discussion

Thanks for the comprehensive response Ian, much appreciated. I know what you mean on the Palitoys, I recently picked up a couple with sliced bubbles and nameplates missing, still have work to do on those. The 20 back Chewie I have has a bubble that has come away as opposed to a sliced bubble, and th...

Re: When does collecting move from mainstream to niche, who decides it and how?

By default SW collecting will always be niche, simply because of the vast array of options Figures Variants Vehicles Boxed or unboxed Mocs Baggies Investment Childhood collecting Etc etc etc ...... As you immerse yourself in SW collecting you become drawn to certain areas, and collect, then maybe th...

12 Backs on a BUDGET discussion

First 12 for me were always a must and happy with First 12 on Mail away stand. Since joining the forum I have forayed into baggies which I love, and gone down the route of reseals and sliced bubbles. Have a mixture and recently Han and Chewie 20 backs which I love So further down the line I will be ...

Re: such a waste....

Reverse of the yak is this one When I joined this forum wet behind the ears ( still am!) my lad had just bought a couple of repro cardbacks, which have gone by the wayside now :) other than this one. JB signed to my lad at a SW Fun day at Burnley football club. I know it's a reproduction card but I ...

Re: Star Wars Fatigue

You don't lose your true fan status because someone says your not a true fan, you know your a fan and that's all that matters. Other people's opinions of me in truth are not important to me, I have my own principles, self esteem and values. Try to live a life that does not impact anyone else through...

Re: Star Wars Fatigue

No SW fatigue for me, do get fatigue with politics, brexit, Trump, and the real world, so the SW escapism is always on the agenda for me.
Totally get that some people are not interested and I'm absoloutely fine with that, everyone has their own thing and that's what make s life interesting.
