Re: Repro Palitoy Deathstar

For those interested, I reviewed one of Darrens reproduction boxes a while back. The box is well constructed and printed using a very high quality printer and paper, not an inkjet printer. Check out the video and you can see it ...

Re: Imperial Troop Transport Appreciation Thread

Here are a couple of the videos I have done on this vehicle. The sound box is great. Simple, but it works. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xEG5tzqLNAA&t=25s And the top gun is something that can be easily repaired. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lRAVFMJSfEM&t=29s Cheers

Re: [Meccano] Repair old remote control R2D2

From those photos it looks like only one wire has snapped. That will need re soldering. I can't see where it snapped from, but it should be obvious, there will be a bit of wire left in the solder joint it snapped from.

Once you've done that, see if it works.

AT-AT Custom insert

Hi Guys, It always bugged me that the inside of the AT-AT looked so empty. So time for a bit of custom insert work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oe-GOSNxXB8&t=3s For those that worry, this is a non perminant addition. I wonder why Kenner never thought to do this at the time (the insert, not t...

Re: 3D Printers and Scanners

This is from a few years back. But after I got my un-opened mail away x-rayed, I got the data 3D printed by a friend. So I have a copy of what is inside the still sealed box.

Re: Repro vehicle stickers

It's really up to you what you do as it is your toy.

I do some replacement stickers, or some custom stickers. Just depends on how battered the ship is. A lot of people just want to make a childhood toy look nice again. And for that replacement stickers work really well.

It's not sunlight you need, it's gentle heat.

All you are doing is melting the frosting. Follow the video and it will look as good as new.
