Re: Forum Figure of the Year 2019 - Round 2 - Match 1

I’m surprised by the voting so far! I expected Leia to be well out in front, but maybe this is the year for the Jawa? Really? I expect the Jawa to win but an extremely comfortable margin Leia always seems go be popular and I like most Hoth figures, hence the thought that she would beat the Jawa. Le...

Re: Forum Figure of the Year 2019 - Round 1 - Group M

Sometimes when I leave the house in the mornings to go to work, I look down and see a strange looking thing on the floor.

I can never tell if it's a fox shit, or if it's a vintage Bossk figure.

That's my view.

R2 all the way.

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Another Canadian Special Offer chalked off of the list. This time the Snowspeeder with free Rebel Soldier. Odd choice, but still cool :)

Re: Farthest From, Vintage Star Wars Collector Toy Show, December 2018, Fordingbridge, Hampshire.

What do you guys think might the better place to stay - Ringwood or Fordingbridge itself? I'm looking forward to have a few beers with you guys, but don't want to be too dependent on taxis. It's not always easy to get a cab in the late hours. In April meet up was in Ringwood, but this time is MonCa...

Re: Woolworths Special Buy 99p 8 packs

But I do know stickered Special Buy packs have been found from other sources, eg Toy Toni has loads of Bandolier packs still to this day. I bought a lot of special buy stuff at the end of the run. It all came from the old "Discount Stores" - there was a small chain here called Gladrags (a...

Re: Woolworths Special Buy 99p 8 packs

From what I can tell Kevlad the receipt in question has been identified (by the style used - as the woolworths receipts have changed over the years)) at around the early 2000's. It unfortunately does not match the designs of the 80s or even 90s style of receipt. Hopefully this information makes it's...

Re: Woolworths Special Buy 99p 8 packs

They just look faker and faker. Ben's receipts show the difference in styles through different time periods. Putting that particular style at early 2000s at best. Fake bags - with a guy who just happens to be caught selling fake baggies later on. Does that not seem like too much of a coincidence? It...

Re: Echo Live VII announced - 4 May 2019

The Holiday Inn is literally a 2 minute walk from the event. No need to faff with car parking then. Also, if you're staying over the night before - can have a good drink and not worry about driving in the morning :) How did you get in on Saturday morning Nick? Nice to finally meet you and lin...

Re: Echo Live VII announced - 4 May 2019

The nights out after the event will be in town (usually starts in the hotel bar, then spoons) - which is also 2 mins walk from the holiday inn.

Love the CCP's everyone!

It's another fave of mine. I don't 'just' collect Jawas.

Old pic, but am up over 50 complete CCPS, now at 21 MoCs and 6 twin pod variants.

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Lovley Death Star. Would the Stormtrooper’s have come on cards on in baggies? All the Canadian SO's came on cardback. The only exception to this is the Dewback (baggy Stormtrooper). This particular one came with 2x 20back Canadian Stormtroopers. Most are from Sears, though a couple of other Canadia...
