Were you never a 15 year old boy? I’m sure there were other types of books that got “worn out” ;)

Re: The vagaries of graded figs

You've got a minty C3PO. Full stop. That ought to be the end of the story! Some pimply young fellow in a low rent industrial estate, working for probably close to minimum wage has looked at this figure and written a number on a sticker. He's then probably chowed down on a donut and texted his girlf...

I see them.

Haven’t a clue what it’s worth though.

Re: Furthest From 2018 dates

Just keep your ear to the ground. There are no dates yet, and there never will be a whole years worth published. Normally spring, autumn and winter. Dave tree is the guy who organises these events but he has a million other things going on at the same time as he is involved in several other events f...

Seems to have disappeared down the shitter.

He’s working for cas now. One of the founders I believe. Seems all his energy is elsewhere.

Dave tree auctioned one off at ff. it’s a bb8 that holds your milk and cereal. The head is a bowl and there is a spoon inside as well.

Re: Mystery of John Kellerman Star Wars Action figures book

Totally agree. As a collectible i see it as worthless. It’s not licensed and it’s not vintage. It ticks no boxes for me. As a resource to aid collecting though, it is a fantastic tool. That’s what it is and should be. It’s a bit of a modern collecting mentality. Consume and purchase everything that ...

Re: Mystery of John Kellerman Star Wars Action figures book

There are a couple of things. Word across the community was the second edition was delayed and then effectively shelved because johns health had deteriorated considerably. I believe he was losing his eyesight, and understandably this caused the second edition to go on hiatus as this medical conditio...

Re: The Mrs stood on it!

Obviously its criminal to see such damage, but accidents do happen. Be very interesting to see where this lands actually. The blaster is clearly there still (by his legs in the first picture) and as a complete loose figure its still a pricey item; the cardback and coin will command a decent price t...

Re: The LEGO Corner

They did a cloud city before. It’s worth a fortune because it was utter shit and no one bought it. It’s got some exclusive minifigs as well that go for silly money.

I hope if they do make it again it’s nothing like the first one. One of the worst lego sets I have ever seen.

If you use heat to flatten it, the cape will shrink. Not much but it will be shorter down her leg. Bear this in mind.

Re: Gifts - please please stop

I got a Arnolfo di Cambio cibi double old fashioned tumbler from the mrs this year. Hand made, mouth blown Italian crystal glass, as used by rick dekard in blade runner. These things have been made like this since 1973. It’s one of the best presents I have had. It looks great, has the fanboy connect...
