Have you tried asking on the French Facebook groups? They are usually very in touch with this sort of thing.

Re: The LEGO Corner

Well, I learnt a massive lesson about lego over the past week. I have started to buy and build the modular buildings. I was in the Brighton lego store about 3/4 weeks ago and noticed brick bank was on its way out. They had loads, and I didn’t have the spare dough so I left it there. Can’t get one fo...

Re: Vectis - 30th Jan

I don’t know but it would have been a similar long thin instrument if not a paper clip. U just need something that can get in the bubble without doing any damage and move the footer back in place. Nerves of steel, a steady hand and a really big set of testicles. I have done it on a Kenner 21 back H...

What about rich.

Not only is it a days travelling for him, it’s like looking a century into the future from where he lives.

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Bit of a random pickup this week but I couldn’t resist. The condition is poor but I love the sticker. Loads of nostalgia there.

Been a while since I posted here. This is my latest pick up, from farthest from. Very pleased to add this odd little droid to my collection.

Re: End of 2018 Collecting Review, 2019 goals

Ok, so let’s have a look at last years post: From last years thread: But what about 2018. Well my goals for the coming year are One new foreign moc. One new miscard. One new speeder bike. They are getting tougher now, but a simple repeat of last year and I will be well pleased. So. One new foreign m...

Re: Vectis Auction November 28th TV+Film

I think I would disagree regarding the most sought after potf figures. I think people are realising that these things are ticking time bombs. It may have graded 90 initially but look at how yellow the bubble is now. These niktos don’t fit the bubble very well and the horns tend to be pressed against...

Not yet, but it’s one of the Ts and cs of coming to ff next weekend. The tree apparently has to be up by Saturday, and all the decorations have to be available as well.

Re: Auction House Sales - Beware!

Sound advice. Many people don’t realise that the buyer has to pay a fee at auction. That’s right, stick 20% on top of the hammer price. Hurts doesn’t it. The final poke in the eye is the 20% is a service, and not counted as part of the sale, so add vat to it as well. A lot of “cheap” vectis sales ar...

What Stu doesn't realise is that my shorts would actually look like chest wadders if he wore them. They're also the wrong ones. Don’t worry Rich, short shorts are all the rage these days. What’s a chest wadder?? You have to remember his thick Geordie accent. Chest wadders man. Were gannin doon the ...

Can’t believe you have posted this. I was going to win everything cheap.

Except I had already bid on some of the stuff I wanted and have long since been outbid. Some of the stuff in this auction is going to go absurdly high, mark my words!
