Re: Which Air Brush to buy ??

Used to do a bit of airbrushing myself a few years back... originally had one of the cheaper Badger kits, and a tiny compressor.. worked very well, but found the fine adjustments weren't that great. Luckily as I was only painting up Fett lids, they were great for the coverage. Ended up with a Iwata ...

Re: How Many Known Examples Exist?

Here's a true story. Back in early 2000's when Kellerman was writing his bible, despite his extensive research he never identified a Kenner Jedi 65 back Hoth trooper as existing. Odd but true, and his matrix still states this 'fact'. Now i knew i had one, and bizarrely it turned out to be the 'firs...

Been a Bossk or 2 on there lately, but prepare to drop £300+. Survival Kit goes from £60+.

Re: Latest Acquisitions

I've had two additions this week which, on the face of it, are nothing special. First is a really nice loose Han Bespin which means I've finally completed my loose first 77 run... 24 years after starting it with Han Trench and Leia Poncho! I've a few to upgrade before I decide whether or not to ven...

Exactly the reason why I've just removed 2 MOCs from AFA cases due to low grades (60 & 75). GW cases are much nicer, plus you can open them and handle the figure. :D

Re: Build Your Own R2D2

Geez.. just noticed it's been just under a year since I updated this.. Just passed the half way point now and things are starting to speed up a bit.... getting to the slightly better stuff now. One leg is now complete... a tad weighty too !! Has motor and sensors built in, so can sense if it gets cl...

Farthest From is the best show to get to... hopefully make it to one of them again this year.

Re: Mystery of John Kellerman Star Wars Action figures book

I picked the book up on it's first (and only release). Was certainly 'the' book to have back then, but now, as others have said, nothing in it cannot be found on the WWW. I see from that RS link, that Tom Derby was getting involved with the extended 1st edition... any idea why he didn't carry it on ...

Re: Did potf mocs make it to uk shelves ?

Had pickings of a freshly sealed case of Trilogos in my favourite childhood store in 85... Never knew about POTF until the 90s. Think it was with Jim Stevenson that I first saw them.. can't recall if it was at Memorabilia or listed in M&CM magazine.

3PO gets my top vote too, purely for the play apart feature. Han and Leia come 2nd and 3rd. The rest just don't have it for me.

Re: 2012 silver coin falcon set 2

Hi Tom, Welcome to the forum. Just FYI, there are not just silver coins in the 30th anniversary set if you're going for a full set. There's 13 gold and a black coin, which brings the set up to 96 all in. I have the full set in a custom frame, if you're interested... won't be cheap though as there ar...

Re: TT Snowtrooper assistance.

Hoth Stormtrooper did come with the larger trilogo style bubble but the corners of where it attaches to the card should be squared and not rounded like yours.
