Re: Latest Acquisitions

Currently doing a bit of travelling in the US... so one stop was Big Fun Toys in Columbus, Ohio. The guys there were great. Very friendly and chatted for ages. A fair bit of vintage to be had in the way of loose figures and vehicles (mostly incomplete) and some boxed vehicles and a handful of common...

Re: Brighton

Snoopers Paradise has 2 main stalls... although the bigger one between the 2 entrances is the best one as it's owned by Tim Drummond... the little single cabinet is owned by Toni. Always worth checking out the whole place though as a few bits can be found hidden. I normally pop.in every couple of we...

Re: price for Darth Vader signed by cast helmet

Helmet is a cheap plastic Don Post version worth £20 tops... signatures (if real) nowhere near worth the other 9000+.

If fake as already mentioned it's worth zip.. sadly it's easy to print off a COA and get suckered into spending loads of cash.

Re: price for Darth Vader signed by cast helmet

$30,000 !! Bit low for a screen used and way too much for a fan made.

What is the provenance of it ???
Who signed it???

Photos will help a great deal too.

Re: Cardbacks

Mike.. this is how I place them. Luke and Han are desirable cards due to being first 12. Ben is a bit more common than those. Yak is commanding good money... would value higher if bubble area was still intact. Landos missing name hits him bad and heavy damage to Lumat gives him a low value. Stormtro...

Re: Theft at Rancho Obi-Wan

How would you get some of those Lego sets out without anyone noticing :?: MOCs I can sort of understand, just don't see how this happened with the size of the Lego boxes. I was about to type the exact same thing... how these where taken without anyone noticing is a complete mystery.. surely they wo...

Re: Beater ROTJ MOC

MOC prices are on the rise... even the more common figures are hitting higher than ever prices.. so on that note.. ROTJ release characters should be found for £30 to £150 ESB characters £80 - £200 SW characters £120 - a fair few hundred. Fett will be the highest with original Leia not far behind. Lu...

Re: Reverse auctions

I've seen one particular guy do this... if not sold in an hour it's dropped a certain percentage... then a bit more after 2hours..

Can't see the point to be honest as why would someone pay potentially another few hundred on top for the sake of an hour..

Re: The LEGO Corner

Not a set, but knocked this one up the other day as a homage to the vintage first 12. Probably as I'll never own a real display at current prices.. lego12.jpg Backdrop was found off the web, and the name plate is custom made. All other parts are genuine LEGO. I did stick this on FB a few days back, ...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Outstanding haul there Jez.... nice one. I heard the rubblings on FB about that so called auction... but a fellow collector mate has been in that shop too (as he's very local) and got his name on a few MOCs too... the shop owner sounds like a real nice chap too. Anyways.. here's my latest £1.34 eBay...

Ok thanks Mark I will try that.

On second thoughts... EBay should take your side anyway. If the guy is now getting negative feedback for the same / similar items they have no reason but to sort it for you.
