Re: 2017 Collecting Goals, hopes and dreams

Long term goals - Just needing 13 figures for a full Moc run.. Sadly all that i need are now expensive. :? Amazingly i still require a Lumat Moc (Any card). Him being the lowest price one he's next on my list before the years out and i have spare funds. I've got a thing for Vtg starwars mirrors, esp...

Re: Near Perfect Repros

Isn't it coincidental that since writing this post about his fraudulant shill bidding that it has all of a sudden stopped. (For now) :D The guy obviously keeps a quiet eye on all the starwars boards. Keep reporting those completed listings. Possible that ebay has already issued the warning du...

Re: Bib Fortuna The Sausage Lady and other amusing names

My little sister always insisted my Logray & Teebo were stripey carebears when she stole them to play with, she even painted a heart on one with nail varnish once. Only names i recall using are 'Growler' - Rancor Snow guard - hoth stormie Bigfoot - Snaggletooth Greendo - Greedo Man in Sandals - G...

Re: Near Perfect Repros

i've noticed in the last few weeks that when on auction format the seller paulgildin uses his joggers ebay account to fraudulantly shill bid the prices up. Had a quick look and spotted at least 15 auctions where the joggers account with 330+ feedback was present on the paulgilden completed listings ...

Re: Long Time suspected FAKE baggies scam / seller

On another note, sorry to go off topic as such : Around 10k's worth of baggie sales in the last 12 months alone & he's flew under ebay's rules & reg's radar & got away with not registering himself as a business instead of private on ebay as he clearly should be :o  Hmmm I think eb...

Re: Long Time suspected FAKE baggies scam / seller

In over 15 years & about 4- 5 thousand vtg starwars buy dealings on ebay worldwide I've only been burnt by 3 separate sellers, 1 A notorious moc faker, you know who! & a guy in the states over some repro weapons many moons ago before they were all the rage & This guy jec10c or whatever it...

Re: How Critical Are You Now On Condition?

In regards to moc I Don't mind a little wear as it gives vtg charm & tells me it's not been namby pambied from day one which I don't like as it seems a bit unnatural to me , Not to mention very "40 YEAR OLD VIRGIN LIKE" Bubbles though, can't do cracks at all or anything past a v...

Re: Toni figure?

Yeah I hear you mate. :) Toni placed his bubbles more centrally with bubble edge a fair bit away from card edge looking for perfection. This han hoth here looks a dead cert toni to me! I'm just pointing out for inexperienced onlookers that in general on other cards the bubbles not being super close ...

Re: Toni figure?

What Jason say's. I've a few kenner cards that have little or no rear indentation at all.I've actually a couple that are completely flat behind bubble. As for toni's tending to have centralised bubble placement. A lot of factory sealed also have this almost perfect looking placement, bearing in mind...

Re: Ebay monthly selling limits, WTF?

Some one needs to come up with some real competiton to these bastards, soon. Amen brother! [/quote] anytime anything does surface that would be serious competition ebay either buys it up on the side or buys it in its infancy and kills it, and anything else out there ebay has its fin...
