Re: Response to Claims

I just want to say that from experience Frank Mewes pays top top cash for rare baggies. I sold some of my rarest ones to him years ago and he was a brilliant buyer and knowledgeable baggie collector. If he refused to pay your prices you must of been seriously over pricing them..... why would you pri...

Re: Resealed figure discovery debate - G.Kurtz Palitoy VC Ja

If you streetview it, its a little village so deffo a home address does not look like business premises. I promise you I'm not digging you out, but Toni's address is in the city of Brighton and Hove. Its not that small of a village  But it is a residential premises. Yeah obviously, I mean the...

Re: Resealed figure discovery debate - G.Kurtz Palitoy VC Ja

Bottom right hand corner in that link I gave it says 'co workers' and list Toni.

2 business's running at the same time, same address, pretty sure he would know more than we do lol.
But yeah it could be a bit awkward

Re: Resealed figure discovery debate - G.Kurtz Palitoy VC Ja

Samuel Thomas Bailey was born in 1980, listed as a director but as a student.
So he's only 33 years old, I'd say he's the person to chase up......facebook?

Re: Resealed figure discovery debate - G.Kurtz Palitoy VC Ja

Arthur and Toni also had another company name ' Monsters Lair Limited' both are listed as directors, a search gives the same address as xceptional limited BUT there was a 3rd person, a co worker called Samuel Thomas Bailey (possibly Arthurs son?)

First thing I checked too Joe, definitely a match imo.

Re: Resealed figure discovery debate - G.Kurtz Palitoy VC Ja

I would be fairly certain the easiest way to spot the fakes would be by the back of the card. All the genuine ones ive seen so far have marks on the back from where the bubbles were attached. The correct press would apply a fair amount of force, so it marks the back of the cards. Checking my old pic...

Re: Resealed figure discovery debate - G.Kurtz Palitoy VC Ja

@ Jason Joiner, how come you ended up with the fetts and hoth troopers from Arthur? Sorry if I missed it but its odd that with everything on the 'list' you choose 500 of each of these. You bought these direct from Arthur? who you said you knew well and looked up to. You must of purchased these befor...

That's quite a change in background colour between the Toni moc and the used card back.

Re: Resealed figure discovery debate - G.Kurtz Palitoy VC Ja

Yes mate, I agree they are most likely all rejects. I bet on some if we had a non Toni sourced card and put it next to a Toni one, Toni's would have issues. There may even be some serious colour differences, but as most of these moc's have come from Toni its now obvious genuine GM cards are quite ra...

Re: Resealed figure discovery debate - G.Kurtz Palitoy VC Ja

Thinking about it, I had a GM At At driver that came from Jim that he bought from Toni and the whole back of the card was blurred. I often wondered how the hell it got through QA.
Also some of Toni's GM cards have really bad flecking, again this would be a reason to pull them.
