Re: How to get rid of odour from cigarettes?

   Great comments and tipps, thanks guys! I had them for hours in a soap wash - didn't help. I had them overnight in the freezer (yes, freezing is antibacterial) - did help somewhat! So I'll leave them for a couple of nights more in there... Afterwards will give them the slight furnit...

Re: How to get rid of odour from cigarettes?

Thanks mate, I'll try that again later on, since the soaping hasn't helped much...
About the cloak though, I'll hang it in the open for a couple days.

Don't know about the dishwasher-method :o
And with the newspaper, you'll risk the ink to bleed onto the figure...

Nah, I'll try the soap method again. For a longer period.

Re: How to get rid of odour from cigarettes?

Hmmm, I'll give it a try on the 8D8 again. Maybe for a bit longer and a different soap.

I'll go with lavender this time around!

Re: How to get rid of odour from cigarettes?

Thanks poncho! I tried it carefully on the 8D8 but I think it must stay for at least 24hours in a soapbath, since it didnt get better by a bit...

Edit: btw. How harmful is soap on those figures?

And when I started sniffing (expecting the soothing odour of vinyl), they turned out to be stinking ashtrays! :( So any idea to get rid of it, perhaps without chemicals? One is ...

Re: RIP Kenny Baker

I am so, so sad about his absence.

And I really fear the loss of each and every cast of the original trilogy, as if they where relatives., somehow...

It might sound weird. But they somehow really are for me, kind of a family .....

Rest in peace, Kenny Baker!
