Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week

Yes I’ve not had time on some threads to post. I don’t see why we can’t add to the previous weeks in the future. A lot of items I could have posted is packed away.

Yeah the bubble on the Jedi card is a bit yellow but not as bad as most. I did spend two years waiting for a descent one.

The Trilogo one is a mess, I still love it though. I’ll look after him now.

Re: Kenobi Movie

Yes apparently Disney are disappointed with how the spin offs have done at the box office. What do you expect when you slap out 4 Star Wars films in 2 and a half years!

Essential child hood figure for setting up Luke Jedi v Vader battles. As far as the more boring figures go he’s one of the best sculpts in my opinion. Here’s my Kenner 77a and sun damaged Trilogo MOC.

Re: Hayden C

I agree, ROTS is in my top 3 favourite Star Wars films. Unfortunately the first two prequels were pretty bad and a lot of fans minds were already made up before they had even seen Episode 3, so it will never be popular amongst fans although I think it is liked a lot more than most perceive it to be....

Re: The Trilogo 70C cardback

Brilliant thread, great info Edd. I love Trilogo’s as they are a major memory from my childhood.

I remember in the 90’s and even the 00’s Trilogos were looked at as the cheap way to collect MOC.

Re: such a waste....

I can see why this would piss collectors off. For me I would be happy with that example for the right price. I wander if anyone has a complete MOC collection signed, now that would be cool.

Re: VCJ 80 grade & 85 grade ( price difference )

I like graded stuff but I think it’s ridiculous how much more collectors pay for higher graded stuff. I’ll keep an eye out for a 75 grade at those prices!

Re: General Grumbling

The grading argument does annoy me as well mainly because it devides the collecting community and I feel collectors who don’t like grading judge collectors who do and put them in the same bracket that all grading collectors only collect the labels. This is true for a lot but not all. The Toy Toni th...

Re: Response to Claims

I sent a loose batch to be graded about 10 years ago to AFA. Some were my figures and some were for a friend. One of the figures my friend had he brought of eBay and the seller sent it with the bubble. I sent it to AFA with the bubble wrapped in bubble wrap to protect it and they gave it a Ugrade! I...
