Re: Did anyone else know this...

Thought I would bump this thread with the discussion about Leia Boushh and Han Hoth going on. I think the creators of Solo a Star Wars story have read this thread and seen the MF escape pod.

Re: Who's Who - Introduce yourself!

Basically I've recently come into (re)possession of a bunch of my childhood SW toys, and sadly space dictates that I need to move some of them along - so I need a bit of help with valuations and hopefully a bit of interest. Although browsing the forum, I think I'm just going to be massively envious...

Re: Nice pickup here

I think it's about right that price the Yakface is a bit of a beater and most of the others are beaters. Some money in the Amanaman and other last 17 I suppose so you could make some money. Depends on how much the Yakface is worth? :?

Re: Becoming desensitised to money due to collecting?

I've never spent beyond my means on anything, but I have always felt guilty about buying vintage stuff that's more than a couple of hundred pounds. The most I've ever spent on one item is £400 all in and I just didn't buy anything for ages after. The investment thing is something I've always used as...

Re: My Childhood Collecting Case!!

This reminds me of my two Ice Cream tubs I kept my figures in. One tub was for baddies and the other for goodies.

Very cool you still have yours! 8)

Re: Question On Boxes And Inserts Etc When We Were Kids

I kept most of my boxed Star Wars items from childhood as I insisted on it. The first Items I got were MF, AT-ST and Snowspeeder, my Mum through all the boxes out and I whent nuts! So from then on all the boxes were kept. Annoyingly I didn’t keep any of the cardboard inserts. I’m not really sure why...

Re: Vintage 70's / 80's Argos catalogues

Yes I noticed no Star Wars in the 1981 catalogue, very strange. They did have quit a lot in the 1984 catalogue which is a double page, but not much really in others. I think it was their thinking to have a little bit of everything. As a kid I always remember wanting stuff that I only saw in the cata...

Re: Vintage 70's / 80's Argos catalogues

Why did you have to post this in the middle of the day on a week day, feels wrong looking through Argos catalogs at this time of day/week in 2018. Really nostalgic though. interesting the last Star Wars stuff was in the Spring/summer edition 1986. The crap you could buy back then was unb...

Cool thing to have, not sure it would last long outside in the elements though.
