Re: What toy did you convert to?

Bootlegs for me, still have zero appeal now, just don't get them.

Each to their own though. :)

Sorry to see you selling up, but it's for a good reason. Good luck with everything and hope you start again soon. :)

Re: Does anyone else have things hidden away?

Everything apart from MOC's and some select loose figures, Wompa and POTF Ewok Combat set. The good thing about having everything packed away is when you have a look every now and again it feels a little bit like Christmas 1984.

I agree on the Leia, really nice example and the footer can be corrected easily. Their is a thread on here somewhere on how to do it.

Dengar and Snaggletooth around the £150 mark I reckon.

Yeah was really good, I referenced the forum in the guest book. I can imagine it being a mission packing all that up, how long did it take.

Re: Valuation request

Ok perhaps I'm going a bit high on Boba Fett, but some do go for that price. Good luck if you do sell it all, but don't rush into selling as it's your childhood collection, once you have sold it that's it. Many collectors on here will tell you how they regret selling their childhood collection.

Re: Torquay - May The Toys Be With You - June 17th - Sept 3rd

I'm about a hour away from Torquay, so don't know the place very well. Seems the same as alsways, I would usually avoid places like this in August, but I couldn't miss this exhibition!

Re: Valuation request

Don't sell it all for any less than £400, Boba Fett is worth at least £50 on his own! You have 30 figures that's probably £300 for just them.

This was really good, amazing collection, saw some stuff I've never actually seen before which was really cool. Recommend going if your within a couple of hours. The Hoth display was really good, early bird set, full set of Kenner 12 backs. Thanks for posting on here as well, made my summer....

Heading over to this today with the kids, if anyone happens to be going as well. We're the family dressed up as Ewok's.
