Re: Frank, Please come back to the Forum

Yeah well done Lars, I think Frank will return to the forum at some point. Although I don’t no him, it seems to me that he is going through a ruff time with life in general. We’ve all been in a situation where Star Wars has to take a back seat for a while. Frank knows he has a lot of support on this...

Re: New Trilogy & Live Action TV Show Announced!

I’ve got a feeling Star Wars will survive long after any of us. :)

Do you really think the biggest phenomenon in the history of film making owes it’s continuing success to some middle aged men who still buy the vintage toys?

Re: New Trilogy & Live Action TV Show Announced!

Making a Han Solo film ain’t exactly playing it safe is it! I think making Episodes 7, 8 and 9 wasn’t the greatest idea. I kind of think the 6 Geaorge Lucas films told the Skywalker story and the new trilogy is unnecessary, although GL always intended to make a third trilogy and I enjoyed TFA....

Re: New Trilogy & Live Action TV Show Announced!

Has anyone else noticed that ‘Trilogo’ is spelt the same as ‘Trilogo card’. Surely that can’t be right! It’s like I’m going to read that book or I’ve just read a really good book. I’m really bad at spelling and this kind of stuff really doesn’t help!

To hard to decide, can’t choose from Han, Luke, Vader, Stormtrooper, Jawa, Sand People or Chewbacca. Any of them for either option! :)

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Nice MOCs Rob, OB1 is a bargain even with the slit bubble. Not a bad start to your Empire run, how many Jedi cards do you have now? Was looking at your showcase earlier, could do with an update!

Glad you got it Paddy, it’s a really nice figure. I was going to buy it until I had an unexpected maintenance bill! The seller was really nice to me as well and thanked me for helping.

Re: Does Trade Bait Work?

I have heard many collectors use the term trade bait I believe the phrase refers to an action which involves buying an item specifically to trade are you saying this is unacceptable? I don’t no, are you saying this is unacceptable? What is trade bait? Do you do this often and if so when and with wh...

Re: AFA Poll For U Grading

Bloody hell Lee cheer up. Their are no set rules just grumpy collectors telling other grumpy collectors what they believe to be correct. Only problem is we all take collecting old toys far to seriously and that’s when the fun stops. :)

Re: eBay still the place for deals!!

Yeah fab deal, I think eBay is still good hunting ground. Especially now on the run up to Christmas, collectors priorities change. Not as much is brought and stuff is sold of to fund Christmas.
