What baffled you most about the toys as a kid?

So I never understood why Luke Bespin came with a yellow lightsaber! As a kid, I was convinced that I had a special Luke until every other kid had a yellow lightsaber with their Luke Bespin. I still have no idea what the reason was they decided to go with a yellow lightsaber, but as a kid, it baffle...

Royal Guard - Unpainted Visor.

Hey guys, I was digging around in the loft yesterday and came across this guy. I thought I had sold him ages ago as I couldn't find him. But here he is. I've always considered him to be a genuine unpainted Royal guard. Also comes with the pike. I've checked the figure under UV light and found no tra...

Re: Has Anyone Experienced This With eBay Before?

I sold an item last week, item was posted on Tuesday and should have been received yesterday (I used Parcelforce24). The buyers PayPal and eBay address both matched, so that was the address I sent it too. It turns out that it was the buyer's old address, and I guess they never updated their eBay/Pa...

Re: Question On Boxes And Inserts Etc When We Were Kids

I was a strange kid growing up. I would bearly move the joints because I didn't want them to become floppy. It was my mum that told me to keep the packaging, telling me they'd be worth money one day. I didn't listen to her and throw them away in a big clear out when I was about 14. Mother knows best...

Re: Becoming desensitised to money due to collecting?

I sold up a while ago and luckily made some extra cash from it (profit, I guess). It started to bother me, even scared me a little, how much money I had invested in my collection. I knew my kids wouldn't want to inherit some dusty old toys. So when I sold my collection, I placed the majority of the ...

Re: Caution and Advice with buyer andrejo_36

That's a shame. It's tough with low value items as charging sign for postage would cost more than the item. Sadly, some folks target such things, knowing they wouldn't be sent sign for. All you can do is refund this person and claim back through Royal mail. Ebay will side with them as there's no pro...

Re: Is This Legit? Are CAS Grading Toy Toni MOCs?

I believe that they have recently stopped this practice of grading anything that’s a fake/repo. It was a big “thing” on FB last month, around the same time as the AFA announcement that they were no longer U grading. Oh man, so much has changed! I joined a facebook group but quickly left as it was s...

Is This Legit? Are CAS Grading Toy Toni MOCs?

I know I've been away for a while but is GAS seriously grading toy Toni MOCs? It just seems bizarre to me. I guess it's another avenue for them to make more money  (Please delete if this has already been discussed in my absence). https://www.creaturecantina.com/epicStory.cfm?id=1246

I was thinking much the same myself, £130 - £150. The figure looks to be in decent shape though.
