Re: Correct pronunciation of character names

I think hands down the name that is mispronounced the most is Obi-Wan for Obi-One.

Seriously Joe, well done mate. A Ghostbusters information site has been long overdue and you've done it justice! You should be proud of it.

Re: What have you never owned?

That's an interesting question. It's once that's caused me to have a good hard think and I'm struggling to ID anything as common as Han Hoth. There's two pieces I've never owned that I would like to but they're not exactly low key. In actual fact in terms of weight and size they're at the opposite ...

What have you never owned?

So in my case I have never owned a Han Solo (Hoth) figure, which is pretty stupid considering I've owed almost every figure in one way or another. But every time I think to myself, 'oh yeah, I need a Han Hoth,' I then can never find one in the condition I would like and forget all about it. So keepi...

Re: Does anyone regularly use UKG ?

I've not graded in a long, long time. I seriously doubt I could afford it now anyway

One of my last graded orders I placed back in 2014.

What it would cost me to place that same order again today :o

Re: Metropolis Toys

My one and only experience with this guy was a very short one indeed. (My email) Hello, I'm interested in a few items you have on your site, are they still in stock.'

I received no response from them :(

Re: Star Wars episode 9 release date

I believe episode XIII (The Last Jedi) was originally going to be released on a similar date this year, but got knocked back until Dec... so you could be waiting even longer my friend.

Han in Carbonite Head Replica.

This has nothing to do with me, but I saw this on eBay and thought what a great idea... I have no room for a full size Han in carbonite, but I'm sure I could squeeze this on my wall... Unless Grinchy can put his talent to designing something like this too? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Han-solo-in-carbo...

Re: ARGOS ONLINE - reduced U-Wing and TIE Striker

Oh man, am I glad I sold all mine before Argos stiffed over all the little people... clever business strategy really. Cut their losses on wholesale, sell what they have remaining, and make sure everyone else is stuck with their stock. But saying all that... I might have to pick myself one up at that...

Re: Can't see the wood for the trees.

This was my problem too. Every time I brought something new, the novelty soon wore off and it just became part of the collection. I've owned some very desirable items, but once you have it, it stops being desirable after a while... well, that's how I find it anyway.

Re: More flippers than collectors?

It's getting a little off key.

The point I'm making... with more and more people buying things with the intentions of flipping it, and then that person buys it to then flip it, I can only see the prices continue to rise. So that's what I mean, there are more flippers than (us) collectors.

Yeah, your right, I was trying to think of another word than dealers and then as soon as I walked away I thought of flippers
