Being able to by them all in one go was a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. Cheers Andy.

Only 1 left now until I have the full production run

Bit of both, going up to the redwood park where they filmed Endor.
I had a look at popping in to see Sansweets ranch but he charges $75 entry!

Re: Vintage shops in LA

Thanks for the replies chaps, I’m going to Hollywood Boulevard and the Chinese theatre so will keep my eye out there. I’m staying near Santa Monica too so I’ll let you know how I get on. Any other suggestions welcome!

Vintage shops in LA

I’m off to Los Angeles next week for a holiday but when I’m not hanging out with Slash on sunset strip I’m keen to do a bit of vintage shopping. Does anyone know of any decent shops in the area?

Re: Echo Live VII announced - 4 May 2019

My collecting goal for 2018 is to get drunk with Nick and Daz.
If that was the morning after, the night before must have been more epic than destroying a Death Star.

Re: What baffled you most about the toys as a kid?

My Ackbar must have been a jumble sale special or came on a cut card because I always thought he was one of jabbas goons until Jedi came out on tv. I thought his head was supposed to be this way round like a beak

Re: Another utter Arsehole

I had a discussion with him last week when he threatened to do this.

Is opening Mocs a more acceptable practice in action force collecting? I can feel some of their frustration since the SA-80 is now outrageously expensive all because of the YPS dickheads.

Re: Were you a "one toy line" kid?

I was almost exclusively Stars Wars with a smattering of Lego (mostly jumble sale pick ups but some Technic when I was older) The other main line I was really into which doesn’t get any love these days was Robotics. These were modular play sets that could be built into various space machines and ope...

Not much love for the micro collection eh Lars!

Here’s my generator attack set, it’s MISB but hopefully someone has an open one so we can see the contents

7 is good for me. We always used to go to the twelve bells on our lunch break, it’s a bit out of town though and the landlord was a right miserable sod! Haven’t been out there for years though so can’t offer any up to date suggestions. Ill bring a little something for the show and tell but it won’t ...

Re: Reproduction Weapons

With the exception of a few over priced accessories all vintage weapons are still completely affordable. Just take a look at Chris excellent sales thread over on the for sale section http://www.starwarsforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=37402 If someone is thinking about starting to collect vintage...

I’m really not a big fan of 4-Lom, I think it’s somethig to do with how stupid he looks when you take of the coat and vest. So I’m not entirely sure why I ended up with this lot
