Re: Buying in the 80's how we used to buy figures

I remember quite a few purchases. Power droid from Malborough totally toys, lando from a shop in st Ives while on holiday, walrus man from zodiac in Swindon, Ben and fx from Trents in Swindon, Luke Endor and EV9D9 from a dept store in Lincoln. Remember others but these one's are all very vivid to m...

Re: Things I cant seem to find a value on

I would guess the Luke hoth proof would go for around £1200 to £1500 these days assuming it’s in decent condition.
It would certainly be worth thinking about grading something like that if you’re thinking of selling

Re: Celebration 2019 is in Chicago.

Morning chaps. I’m going to go to a baseball game whilst I am there. Sadly, the cubs schedule doesn’t fit very well with the con so it will be the white sox and either the Monday or Tuesday after the con. Probably the Tuesday night. Tickets are on sale this week. Does anyone else fancy it? That’s a...

Re: Trilogo accessories; miscard or intentional?

I have a tri Han trench, a wing pilot, gunner and Luke stormy so will be happy to help with this and other polls but unfortunately they’re all in storage! I know for a fact my luke has a blue black blaster and I have yet to see one with a solid black. I do agree with your summary, aside from errors ...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Thanks for all the comments lads, I really appreciate it.
Carl you are right but mailers isn’t a road I really want to go down. I did say that about the worlds since they’re just reboxes of the individual sets and I managed to get my arm twisted so you never know!

Re: Offers

I had this loads last year when I was blitzing vintage games. I think I got declined on a £9.50 offer for a £10 BIN. It wasn’t a bad deal at a tenner but I didn’t buy it cos the guy was being such a dick.

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Been trying to get my hands on a decent priced wampa cave for ages, he’s not particularly rare but always seems to go for as much as some of the bigger sets. Then out of nowhere Spoons goes and finds me a right bargain 0478A5F3-48D1-4C34-A46E-201E227CFE50.jpeg What an absolute solid gold legend you ...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 3, 2019, Part 1/2

Here you go lars, I picked this up from the marvellous Mark Daniels a couple of years ago. 7A345950-220D-4B71-B862-CBA24A6B103D.jpeg FC0DE544-932A-4035-9432-FA4F48CFBB8B.jpeg I guess these aren’t very popular now and they certainly weren’t back then EF880008-0F91-4D5E-947E-26AA266575FB.jpeg Under 8 ...

Re: Ebay buying advice

I always use an auction sniping tool. This puts your max bid in automatically with a couple of seconds left so you don’t need to worry about forgetting to bid. I’ve never had a problem with the one I use but have heard of them not working 100% of the time. Adding a few pence or quid is also great ad...

I’m trying to get my mate scooternick to come but he’s being bashful.

He’s a Bristol local and socialite so he’ll have tonnes of great ideas on where to go but he did say wahaca is right on the triangle and can get busy with student dicks on a Saturday night
