Re: Jukesy ESB MOC's

I picked up an offerless Dengar (41 back?) earlier in the year for 150. The bubble was clean though so unless there's a premium on 47 backs I would imagine yours would go for a little less.

Re: The Empire Strikes Back Revisited - Review

It's finally here! Thanks so much for the great review Matt and to Adywan if he's on here.
I too have followed this for what seems like an eternity had assumed it was never coming out.
Can't wait to get home and download now.

I'll be buying your book either way but would much rather pick one up in person from you. Not only would it be great to meet you and have a quick chat but I'm all for cutting out the middle man if I can! Dave Tree used to organise a few talks throughout the day at older farthest froms, it's a bit to...

You could buy a cardback and display it with a carefully cut toploader

Re: That second the guy next to you at work says "I've got some old figures I don't want"

They are still going but have moved from surrey to Bournemouth https://www.modellersloft.co.uk/ He still had some stuff for sale when I went in last year. It was a bit pricey which you sort of expect for a high street shop but it was a shame to see the micro collection stuff so faded where it had b...

I'm really excited about your book Craig, do you have any idea when it will be published?
What about a signing session at the next Farthest From?

Re: What Do You Resent Buying?

Great question! I really resent buying a lot of boxed vehicles with missing/broken parts and trashed boxes. They look shit on display and are a nightmare to finish off. I also resent buying the very few potf 2 bits I have but generally I've done ok. If you asked what I resented NOT buying, well that...

Your right and my comment wasn't aimed at you or anyone. I should have put a laughing emote after it as I wasn't being serious. I wouldn't get anything signed these days. Back in the day you could open them so getting one signed back then is no problem. :D Ah right, my misunderstanding but thanks f...

Re: Number of Loose figures

I have a full run, most major variants and a few childhood figures that are totally battered but far to precious to get rid of.
I think that works out around 120.

That's a bit harsh isn't it? As I said, it got signed in the 90's when people weren't so precious about things.

Re: Would you get a signature on a MOC, do you think the signature should reduce the MOC's overall grade?

I don't have any signed mocs but in the 90's Jeremy Bullock came to my home town so I asked him to sign my slave one. I wasn't so precious about things in those days and just thought it would be cool but even by today's standards I think I prefer it the way it is.
